Fuchs is another player who has been dismissed by the ‘Leicester Faithful’ :dunno: as being well over the hill.

He isn’t and could still play a role this season.

I still think attacking wise he's dangerous and defensively he's always been solid. Chilwell is progressing this season but in terms of end product he's not close to Fuchs. I hope Fuchs is still used on occasions as he's got a lot to offer.

Just caught up on the highlights. How is Albrighton’s outside of the boot pass for Gray’s chance not getting talked about more?! ??

if it was phil foden he would be and PFA Young player of the year already.

Saw that live, and that wasn't the only time he tried that. He was fantastic as usual.

Gray was also very good playing as a striker IMO.

It’s a suicidal tactic against players capable of putting the ball behind your defence. Albrighton three times alone did the same trick.

Not many Albrightons in division 3 though, so I can see it working well for them at that level.

Christian Fuchs has scored two league goals in close to 100 league matches with us, plus this one League Cup goal. Calling that "end product" is rather amusing. There's not a massive gap in terms of "end product" between Fuchs and Chilwell.

The latter has age on his side and should become more prolific with time. In the end, I'm not overly fussed about how many goals Chilwell scores for us, that's not a left-back's primary job.

What about the 9 assists compared to Chilwell's 2 assists? Fuchs has played more games overall but he's always been a good source of goals.

Fuchs is only getting worse and Chilwell will get better so it makes sense to play Chilwell. The whole side looked good against Fleetwood because we weren’t tested often by them, Fuchs hasn’t got the legs to play in the league anymore.

He gave a lesson in full back play goal assist throws position real solid all round..Chilweel is probably never going to be a full back but should make a living further up
