Only last month did Fleetwood Town visit Leicester City in the Carabao Cup. Now it's the development squad's turn to take on Joey Barton's Cod Army.

Steve Beaglehole takes City's youngsters to Highbury Stadium for the first game of their Checkatrade Trophy group stage on Tuesday evening (7.45 kick-off) and he will hope for a better result than this time last year when City's development began their campaign with a 3-0 loss to Fleetwood.

Not that it hindered their progression, with City escaping from the group stage and negotiating the first knockout round before succumbing to Oldham in the Northern Section quarter-finals.

We are live at Highbury Stadium to bring you action and analysis, while you can also get in touch with your thoughts on Twitter or Facebook .

Josh Knight at right back? Would love him to push his way into the first team, a solid defender who's happy on the ball and can take it upfield.

Loft again makes it 2-2

6 mins into injury time

Full-time 2-2 against a strong Fleetwood side.

Will Ndukwu be on the bench for Bournemouth ?

Loft sounds roof-less when attic-king.

I've heard that he likes snakes and ladders espeically the ladders part because his surname is Loft.

You see some lofts have ladders to get up to them and that's why I said that. - he'd like to play the game of snakes and ladders for that reason.

There's the remote possibility that he's got a pet snake too  and then it would work both ways.

In fact if it was a snake in the loft it would be too much I think... If he was playing snakes and ladders in the loft with his snake next to him then that would be the ultimate I think.

Happy he scored. Well done Ryan.
