I don’t post very often on the forum but had a thought that if it was possible to arrange that after the minute silence and before kick off that the fans all sing You’ll Never Walk Alone, have it playing on the PA system and a bit like Liverpool have all the fans singing it. I think it would be a fitting tribute to all the victims, and also show our love for Top, his family, the players and all LCFC staff that we stand strong and together.

Do you reckon this is A) a good idea & B) possible?

and if this should be in another thread or has already been mentioned then I apologise

Fully understand singing one of our own songs, just thought this would be very fitting. Was just a thought. I was standing in the line waiting to write my message in the book of condolence and i could visualise the whole stadium singing it and how emotional it would be.

Are they planning to sing the full version of WYS? I'd genuinely love it if we could have the full version be our YNWA at the start of games.

Didn’t realise that was the plan, and it being our own song makes sense

Like others have said nice idea, but when your smiling is our song.

But do it loud but slow, and make sure everyone knows the words, and quite apt for Vichai and he did seem a happy chappy.

If the tragic death of Vichai gets us singing “when you’re smiling” in vast unison and at a proper pace regularly in tribute, it will be yet another beautiful gift and legacy to us all.

Nice thought but its got to be one of our songs. But our manners and civility are still holding so praise be to that.

When your smiling was my favourite song as a kid in the kop, but I hope the words are put on the seats of the fans as I am not sure all the fans know the words.

i know YNWA is not our song but back in the day the kop did sing it most games. But that’s just me showing my age ??

Absolutely.

Vichai respected our traditions and so should we.

Couldn’t agree more mate. The YNWA was just a thought. I love WYS and it has always anoyed me over the past 5 or 6 years that it seems to have disappeared from the song book, hopefully this will bring it back.

Anyway didn’t mean to offend anyone with the idea, just thought it would have been very emotional. Again I love WYS and it is a Leicester song and it’s a shame it never really gets sung anymore, so hopefully this will bring it back to the song book

Yeah dont know why its not sang much / at all anymore. The lyrics are really positive and its supposed to be uplifting but it always either makes me well up or shed a tear. No idea why!

Would be a good idea to ask the club to print words on a clapper or something as many don't know the words I think (I do!)

The clapper will definitely have vichai's picture on it I would think

Which whiskey was it? Maybe you should try a few others that might be better.

I’m not trying to be funny in saying this and am as gutted as everyone else with recent events so please don’t shoot me down for saying this but will we be changing our goal music,

as I feel it’s completely inappropriate under recent events,it’s something that I never even gave thought to it was my 11 year old daughter who brought it to my attention
