The most exciting boring football I’ve seen in the last two games. 24 shots in each and two goals. Getting rid of the moose. Loaning our the salami. Need I go on . Will be looked upon as a legend in the future.

StanSP Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 Also, for avoidance of doubt and actual facts, our away results are Europa League at best. Home results, I think we all know we could do better. It begs the question of where we'd be if we had a little more consistency. No team goes 100% home and away (as much as our fans would love for that to happen) but of course some of the home results were embarrassing, no doubt. But the home results could be worse, it's not like we're in relegation form based on the home results...

You can quote stats until they come out of your arse to try and back up your particular point. But ... the only statistic that mostly means anything to an owner is where you are at the end of the season. It's about money, survival and business foremost with entertainment coming a distant second. The latter, for our owners, I'm sure is cared about but they have to prioritise firstly in what is obviously a period of much change.
blaaklint Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 So many complaints about inconsistency yet our home and away records are practically identical... Seems pretty consistent to me... You could argue that this says pretty dire things either about the atmosphere or the tactics at home - probably, I suspect, a bit of both.
