Leicester City champions mural could be painted over - but it won't be the end of the fairy tale

I mean, unless there had been a successful campaign to list it, it was entirely within the owners' right to paint over it. Nothing wrong with finding it a shame that it's gone etc, but it's their right.

I spent the first 23 years of my life in Leicester and the following 25 plus years elsewhere in the world without ever having to go to that part of the City.

 

I went there to see that mural, though.

 

I think a recreation at or near the ground would be a popular thing.

Definitely.

 

A ‘Champions Wall’ incorporated into expansion plans would be great. Obviously wouldn’t have the spontaneity the original one did but we’re really lacking on tributes to that achievement in the city.

 

We know the Foxes Trust serve no purpose in pushing the club on stuff like this but hopefully Union FS can use their platform to do so.
