Absolutely love this song despite being released 25 years before I was born. Maybe because my Dad used to play it but I could listen to it anytime. Also love the Travelling Wilburys version.

Honestly some of the music from then doesn't sound out of place now. I see you posted Tomorrow Never Knows by The Beatles and that's a great example, still sounds like something from the fututre never mind now. Sometimes it's mental imagining hearing those songs for the first time back then in the 60s.

 

I never knock any artists for going outside their comfort zone and trying new things. That's what it's all about. Artists that stay the same and never move from one idea/genre are boring, it's easy to do that.

Probably the coolest song ever in my opinion. These guys were true pioneers of modern music, as much as The Beatles, Stones and Beach Boys for me. Stunning.
