Cheers mate, just ordered it for nice bit of holiday reading

Think I'll do the same. Although may get some funny looks when I break out into tears on a sunbed in Ibiza.

Brought the you can't buy that feeling for the same reason. It's about the only time I have any time to read books. Read Vardys on the plane journey last year.

Me too. Not sure it'll be one for the plane, might need to find somewhere quiet to read and cry alone.

Anybody thinking of buying from the Works online there is a code that gives 25% off a £10 spend, you would obviously have to add other items to make it up to £10, you can collect your order from a works shop ( Free )

They also have   When Football Was Football - Leicester City  reduced to £2.50p ( from £25 )

Code is  SUN25      this may only be valid today  3/7/2019

If some of the the money in buying it goes towards his charity foundation at the club, then will be even more for buying it.

Seems very tempting to buy, especially after the tragedy last October* (it really does seem short than the near-9 months since it happened..:( ).

I enjoyed it, personally.

As an aside, what are people's opinions on Vardy's book? Worth a read or not really?

I liked it and there are some quite interesting facts I never knew till I read it.

Same here, i found some of the off pitch/backroom stuff quite interesting, stuff you wouldnt expect to know/think e.g Cambiasso etc also seems pretty honest and open about everything

whilst talking books.. also really enjoyed Muzzy Izzets as well. Really good throw back

Yes I’ve read the Izzet one too. Both books I’d recommend to any LCFC fan

Am I the only one who thought Vardys book was a bit shit.

Most stuff had been documented in the press or leaked on social media in the past.

It wasn't particularly well written or edited. And it was a bit like being back at school, it took next to no time to read, I felt like handing it back and asking what I was allowed to read next.

Mot is an easy read- I read the whole book in one evening ?

But I think we all know Vardy is no George Orwell
