Good finisher, not alot else there for me. Don't hate him, don't love him but could do without the over the top fawning by the media (not his fault) and the glossing over his shittier sly side. But if you can get away with it....

I don't get it when people say "just a good finisher". It's what a striker like Kane is meant to do. Even Lineker jokes about himself not moving. And like Lineker, Kane's record is unbelievable, he'll end up as this Country's greatest goalscorer. He does shoot constantly but if I had a record like his so would I.

Anyway, superb tackle by Evans. I couldn't care less who it was on. I can't talk about how much I like Evans. What a bargain.

He's on track to be the record Premier League and England goalscorer. Not bad for someone who's just a good finisher.

I'm not saying it to have a dig and obviously his ability to score goals is the important part. But his general play is pretty poor in comparison. I'm friends with a few spurs fans and it frustrates them no end, until he scores obviously.

Yesterday for example, if he had squared it on I think 2 occasions, game was most likely over at half time.

For some reason it wont let me quote you as well in the post above so I've replied to the main point there. Just wanted to say that I agree with the second point. Evan's is amazing. We're lucky.

Anyone got a gif of the Sissoko tackle on Maddison? I was utterly convinced that was a red card challenge in the stadium, but I don’t think MOTD even showed it

It wasn't on MOTD. Looked like he went in with stoods showing too.

The assault was right in front of me. If Vardy had jumped in like that, completely out of control,  I suspect it would have been an immediate red card.

Certainly odd that MOTD didn't even mention it.

Surprised that many can’t understand the Kane dislike.

Was dreadful on loan (as well coming across as some David Brent character behind the scenes) and then went absolute nuts when he scored his first goal against us despite no stick.

Continually demeaned us on social media in 15/16 which proved an actual positive for us in the end.

Then as the air of someone like Rooney on the pitch. If it was up to him, he’d take every set piece including throws in. Constantly on at the ref too.

The blokes an arse

Why would you hate him because he was poor for us? I'm sure he tried lol, Vardy was terrible when he started did you hate him aswell? Andy Kings bin shite for years but i'm sure you dont hate him.

And i remember the game he score against us, he was in fact getting stick for the exact reason you described. "Because he wasn't very good for us"

This.

And also, I'm starting to find all the Kane 'dribbling' this and 'm0ng' that talk on here a bit distasteful tbh. I'm no Spurs fan but Kane is a long way from being an offensive character and constantly hounding him because he has a lisp and looks a bit chinny is playground stuff.

Thank you for saying it! I like Harry Kane, no reason to not like him!

He's a very good finisher but I agree with Arty that there isn't much else to his game and he is a greedy fooker. So many opportunities to play people in yesterday a d he just tried to get a shot away. Give me Vardy over him any day

Normally agree with what you say, but sorry this time thats utter rubbish. Has far more to his game than our Jamie and just as good a finisher.

If we were away at Spurs and one of our players done it then it would have been a red no doubt.

Two footed and off the floor, yes he got a bit of the ball first but that doesn’t matter when you go in like that - should have been a red for sure.

As I said earlier in the thread, it's really not very bad at all.

Because he looked completely half arsed in his desire and application in a Leicester City shit.

I thought both Evans and Soyuncu were excellent yesterday but that tackle was the real highlight and I was up on my feet, hands in the air giving it the big “come on”!!

On a side not is there footage of the Sissoko challenge? I’ve only seen it the one time at the match and it looked like a red card to me.

Well I've never felt so betrayed! lol

Vardy works much harder and presses defences. And if a teammate is in a better position than himself he'll at them in. Just personal opinion mate. I'd take Son over Kane as well

What’s not really very bad at all? The challenge from Sissoko? You’re living in the 80s if you think that’s not a red card

I've seen it back, and no, I'm just not that blue tinted.

Agree to disagree - you’re wrong tho ;)

I was expecting to be disgusted by it, and, much as I loathe Sissoko, it seemed to me he slipped and kept low and unaggressive. There's a GIF of it somewhere here.

I think this is the problem with being at a match. You only see it once, perhaps not even clearly that once, you are also wrapped up in the emotion of the moment.

When I saw it first time it looked like a red card offence but looking at the replay you can see that his foot slipped - he didn't dive in two footed - and he kept his studs down. Probably not dangerous and certainly not malicious.

There are websites - which I can't give you on here - where you can watch the entire match or any individual part of the match after it's finished. I'm sure a simple search on Reddit for football highlights would give you what you need. ;)

I can't stand him either. I can't stand Spuds. I'd love them to sink without trace. It makes my weekend when we win and they lose (so yesterday I was ecstatic).

Kane can't help how he looks and speaks though, which I think is the point many are trying to make.

Yeah some of the abuse is poor and OTT

This is the exact reason people dislike spurs fans. They have the striker all teams dream of and they can still find room to complain.

When Kane leaves spurs they will drop back down to their pre-poch level.

I play football with some spurs fans on sundays and I'm looking forward to tonight's game. They're not happy.  They'll moan about everything and I'm gonna love every second.

They do actually moan alot about kanes play though, but obviously love his goals but dont you dare agree about kanes play.
