Fireworks

It pains me to say this as I love them. But nearly 4am and the city still sound like a war zone. They clearly need banning as people can't be trusted to use them in line with the law. I genuinely feel like getting in my car following the source and smashing windows when I get to the culprits house.

Sorry about that...didn't realise we'd bought so many.

Can't stand them. We'll start hearing them between now and the end of Nov.

Fair play Sainsbury's for stopping selling them.

People from Extinction Rebellion etc won't tolerate such products, believing that they'll damage the quality of the air..

They do.

In India it's a serious health hazard.

They wouldn't bother me if it weren't for the fact that my pets find them extremely distressing. This time of year really isn't much fun for them.

This and that they look shit unless you go to a display. Not to mention the retards setting them off late at night.

My next door neighbours popped round earlier to tell us what time they're doing their fireworks tonight and check we're cool with that.

I wouldn't have minded anyway as I know they only do it for one night, but that sort of consideration always makes me a lot less likely to be irritated

Will your neighbours be going to all the houses within ear shot?

A few years ago a family in Glenfield let off loads of fireworks at 4 in the morning because their soldier son had just returned home from some war zone or another. They said in the local rag that it might not have been popular with the neighbours but they still went ahead with it - selfish cvnts.

Besides, I bet their son was well chuffed to hear explosions, fire crackers, bangers etc has he stepped out the taxi. He probably dived for cover under the privet.

Diwali has finished and it's the new year today so I'd expect some more tonight. Then you have a bit of a break til bonfire night :)

And to let people know in advance, next year Diwali and New Year is on weekend of 14-15th November :D

I told them that you said that, so that's what they're doing, and it's taking so long that instead of doing it at 8.30 pm like they said, it's now going to be at 3.30am.

I hope you're pleased with yourself
