Tesla had a big jump this afternoon. Went up $20+.

They are rolling out and updating their Full Self Driving and Robotaxis quite fast now in the US and I think that's gathering momentum.

The hatred towards Musk has simmered down a bit now he’s not all over Trumps arse, there would have been a lot of emotional disposal with their shares and cancelled orders at the time.

OK the ones I shortlisted are:

D-Wave Quantum

Palantir

Super Micro Computer

Nebius

IBM

I missed out on Nebius as it suddenly jumped up 35% on 9th September.

Just on this some news in today which suggest SuperMicro is the one to jump on as they will be supplying Nvidia with their chips for AI into 2026.

Oh and Palantir seems to be trending steadily upwards again as well after a dip.

I’ve done well from Palantir, they’re doing well with US government contracts. I’d stay away from SMCI, I did well on them in 2024, but are down massively from those times. CapAi are one I’m keeping an eye on.

I've put a bit in both of those first two.

I see CapAI did well for the last year (up 750%!!) but has dropped 50% again in the last 3 months.

Shares are extremely cheap though at $0.0028. I've stuck it on the watchlist.

I'm new to the investing game. Currently making regular contributions to S&P 500 Tech fund. Would love to invest closer to home but the gains (albeit risks too) just seem far greater over the pond unfortunately.

Some great ftse stocks which pay good dividends so it's not all about the growth shares.

M&G, Phoenix, The big oil boys Shell and BP, housebuilders all pay circa 4/5/6% division and are solid companies👍🏾

New to all this, heard one or two mentions of eToro - most will probably know what it is, but I didn't. Stumbled across this video (part of series) and it looks very interesting, may be of use to others out there? Of course if people like me are getting interested, could be a sign it's all about to crash..

Wouldn’t think about it too much boys and girls. If you’re in it in the long term it’ll certainly bounce up

I posted this in the wrong thread earlier, but Tesla now up 18% in the last 7 days and 25% for the month. Shame I took some out to put into other stuff.

Just wait for Elon to say or do something stupid and it’ll crash again, buy in and repeat!

No, some AI stocks (Super Micro, Palantir, Google), plus Amazon and Rolls Royce. I spread it all around a bit. Before EEE I had all my money in Tesla and Nvidia.

Now he's distanced himself from Trump it's less likely. Only a matter of time though probably.

True but if you pick 10 cheap quantum stocks and put £1k in all of them you only need one to hit to make money.

Still a bit risky though and would need a few days of reading and research.

This worked for me, quadrupled on QUBT and sold at $4 (it’s $16 today 😬). Sold D-wave (QBTS) at $1.80 for an 80% profit. Today it’s $18 🥴. Still have RGTI (+100%), IONQ (+350%), ARQQ (-13%), but it’s a wild ride

Eee starting well down again. Do we think this is just amateur investors jumping due to recent losses and the underlying potential still remains positive? I've bought more today hoping to buy the dip as it were (though my overall holdings are very low)

Was it constantly on the up, or did it have any/many dips?

Its had a massive leap up to about 70-80p and now is probably a correction to where it should be if there's been no change in fundamentals.

Considering Lako mentioned this when it was low 10's its still in positive territory but some people will be panicking and bailing out.

Welcome to the AIM market!!
