If we win our first 9 games of the season, we could be in with a shout for the title, let alone top 4! We should beat Watford though ...

Spurs lol

They’re getting worse under Mourinho, their squad isn’t exactly well stocked and financially they’re not well placed.

Arsenal I can see improving under Arteta but their recruitment is hit and miss and they don’t tend to spend. There’s some serious flaws in their squad too.

Chelsea’s underlying numbers are better than what they’re actually getting and with their signings I’d expect them to be closer to Man City and Liverpool.

WRT us, a lot depends on how well we manage the extra games and our signings. There’s no immediate problems with our first team, we’ve got a superb manager whereas United don’t. I think 4th is achievable next season but it’s dependent on our signings.

I'd echo all of this except Arteta is still completely unproven and managing at Arsenal with arguably the worst fanbase in the country is different role to being Pep's number 2.

And Chelsea are building something really good there, especially going forwards but think Lampard brings them down.

We need some serious squad filling if we're to challenge for top 4 again with Champions League too

I'd like to know the odds for Barnes getting in the England Euros squad in 2021. Might be worth a cheeky quid.

Barnes 5-1 with skybet

James Justin 20-1

Nice. I think there's potential for Barnes to make it in. Sterling, Sancho and Rashford are the obvious contenders in wide positions but otherwise who else is there who was playing as well as Barnes before lockdown?

I think there's probably too much competition for JJ at club and international level but might be worth sticking a small amount on. By the time the tournament comes around I'd say Walker and Trippier will be out of the picture so realistically he'd be competing with TAA, AWB and Reece James. JJ's ability to cover left-back could help him though.

Bloody hell, we’ve still got to finish this season, open up a transfer window, work out what next seasons looks like, have a preseason, sack a few managers, work out what Europe might look like, and who qualifies.
I wouldn’t be putting money on anyone winning anything at this stage.

We don't even know who's gonna be in the league next season. At this stage in 2015, we were rock bottom, and we won thr league the next year. I know that's not the norm, but where are the odds on Norwich?

LCFC are tied with arsenal for next season in joint 6th (7th) according to attached odds.

I just wanted to know everyone's thoughts on this and where you see us finishing next season?

Personally for me, with the right signings then I think we'd be good for 4th.

Well, I'd rather that than a CL place. The less respect we get, the better we do - sadly.

I'll go as far as to say arsenal and spurs will likely drop out of the top 6 so it is up to us and the likes of wolves to take their places as the big 6 and try and compete for top 4 football.

We have a squad who can perform to finish top 6.

We also have a squad that has the depth in quality of a fat kids paddling pool.

If we lose a Vardy, Ndidi, Kasper or a CB to injury we be FOOKED and that’s before even mentioning that of the wingers we do have there are quite possibly 3 that we should keep in Barnes Albrighton and Perez and there’s a case to be made that with a couple of signings needed for that position that none of them are necessarily nailed on as first choice in a top four team...

We need a striker, DM, Keeper, CB and a winger and they all have to be quality. If not and we get injuries we are as likely to finish 14th as we are 4th when we’ve got CL, PL and two cups to deal with.

Maybe but consider who he has to displace to get a look in...

Or who you have to injure to get paid out!
