Is anyone else frustrated by the lack that Brendan kicks off with refereeing decisions to the point where it is possibly affecting us adversely in terms of the decisions we are getting.

When we played Arsenal, Arterta manager to divert all the media attention away from Nketiah onto a fairly obvious innocuous moment involving Vardy. Whereas time and time again we have had stinkers on VAR, and I really do not think we make enough of a deal of it as a club. There was no discussion about Inheancho's goal being ruled out for little reason, barely a replay shown.

Even yesterday I think Barnes should have had a penalty on VAR, I do not understand why the players do not appeal for it and Brendan does not make a meal of it the media. I think it would affect future VAR decisions if we kick off more of a fuss, and help build siege mentality we have been missing recently.

Maybe have over-egged how much bigger clubs actually make fuss about refereeing decisions and the focus on their decisions is just Sky bias, but lack of focus there has been on stinkers we have got it a joke.

I think he was to do this he'd just then be criticised for deflecting blame. I also doubt the referees care whether or not the manager speaks after the game about decisions or not.

I'd be lying if I said it hasn't frustrated me at times this season but then I can see why Brendan doesn't kick off about it. Firstly, it's a waste of energy, after the game it isn't going to change anything moaning about it and I guess there's also a danger that if you complain about it too much then a) you create excuses for your team and b) you give your team a bit of a victim complex which could be counter-productive. The other thing is that by not constantly criticising officials they might subconsciously favour your side. I remember reading about Brian Clough insisting that his players never questioned the referee as he believed that long term they would benefit, which arguably they did. That said, I do agree with your point and I definitely think it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to question VAR before the United game so as to put the pressure on however, I also get why he doesn't comment on it publicly.

Your right the Refs couldn't give a toss about Managers comments as there is no comeback on them.

Brendan's whole schtick is that the performance is what counts, nothing else. Which is admirable.

You don't want to make excuses for your players or to create a victim complex.

Agree a little bit in regards to Rodgers but our players definitely need to kick off more. It’s only natural that refs are more likely to give a decision if they’re put under more pressure. Some of the handballs given against us have been disgusting and I can’t remember our players protesting too much

Brendan doesn't do negativity, moaning or complaining. That's not how he rolls...

Palace needed to kick up such a stink re the penalty that var would not have daredcruke the goal offside

Rodgers needs to be much more vocal about referee's, I know officially the FA say it doesnt make a difference, but I believe it does, and its a reason the big clubs tend to get favoured as their managers tend to moan when they get bad decisions.
