To play 60 to 70 games a year at the level and performance he has delivered is increditable, mistakes aside which are few. Who has suggested he doesn’t want to be there and that it wasn’t our fitness staff or sports science team who thought it was best for him to have an extra week off to keep him out of the red zone, given his age and the amount of matches he’s played?
