Yes this is why players tend to throw the ball to someone else or even themselves before stepping over the boundry?

That's always been the case anyway as you can't step over the boundary whilst in contact with the ball, but in terms of physically touching the boundary the same principle applies.

it's easy to get about (you can book Tuk-Tuks via Uber. unbelievably cheap).

It has bustling old style streets, it's dirty in parts as you'd expect, it's on the coast & pretty humid.

The Dutch Hospital is an old building with nice restaurants (The Ministry of Crab, is owned by Kumar Sangakkara).

We stayed in a lovely hotel (Cinnamon Lakeside). This was a package booked through The Barmy Army. We had a great time.

No. We were there mainly for the  cricket. No wildlife/safari trips. City based (Colombo & Kandy). Lots of little monkeys to be seen though, which was nice.

Conditions play a part too. 

 

Facing England seamers emboldened by bowling first under grey skies and with a greenish deck and I can imagine there's not many more difficult places to bat.

Jamie Smith needs to be stronger with these reviews, just shrugs his shoulders and doesn't help root much.

 

Perfect toss to win this morning and Robinson has been good, wonder when is next test match will be, after the inevitable knock he will pick up.
