South Africa and the West Indies starts today, (on BT or Sky I believe) interested to see Tony de Zorzi at test level for South Africa. Saw a bit of him in their T20 comp a while back (not the recent franchise one) and liked the look of him. Also scored 304 not out from 381 balls in domestic red ball this season.

Now we know how the Aussies felt all those years ago !

EDIT: Good point about the WC final too.

Credit to the Black caps.

Shame we just didn’t get over the line- those little errors early in the innings cost us .

Woke up expecting to have been carted out for 150, and yet England lost by 1 run. It leaves me asking this question....

Why is this thread still using the word 'none' instead of 'non'?

When you lose by 1 run there are always going to be something here and there that would have made the difference. Getting caught on the boundary, turning down runs, wides etc.

Win or lose, at least England matches are proper test matches. Going the distance, can go either way and twists and turns.

Anyone who has lauded and enjoyed England's approach under Stokes/McCullum cannot now turn around and say it was the wrong decision to declare in the first innings and to enforce the follow on (I have seen moaning in some quarters!). Both were bold decisions which have defined this leadership team so far and have produced some unbelievable test matches. Ultimately, that aggressive style will backfire sometimes but we'll watch some brilliant cricket in the process.

Credit to both teams for such a spectacle, especially to New Zealand for their resolve in turning the game around. Thoroughly enjoyable game and what an advert for 5 day test match cricket.

Brilliant Test match and you have to credit New Zealand for turning it around.

Fekt they really took it to us in their second innings in a way they hadn't before in this series. Always easier to do in that situation when you've little to lose, but I think the Aussies will have been watching that change in approach with interest ahead of the summer.

Always disappointing to be on the wrong end of those ones but an amazing advert for Test Cricket. No better form of sport in the world in my opinion.

The European Cricket thing is back on Via Play, was it @Voll Blau who mentioned watching it previously? Every year I comment on how bad it is, yet watch it 😂

May have done. Always some great scenes in that tournament.

The guy hosting yesterday had a European Cricket tailored suit on, which was bright orange. It's the box office event The Hundred wants to be.

European Cricket League was brilliant when working from home, loved it. Some of the best things I've seen on a cricket pitch and commentators are hilarious at times.

Some of the high no balls are superb, especially when they are being done by blokes bowling incredibly slow

I enjoy the overthrows, I saw one video where the ball went through to the keeper and they ran 3 lol

England 7 down needing 49 off 67.

Seems to be a slow wicket so no chance to score quickly .

Good ton from Malan. Hope he can finish the job now.

Imagine what he could've achieved if Morgan didn't have a huge ego and played him sooner.

I mean we did ok without him to fair lol

I could understand Malan struggling to get in when a top 5 of Roy, Bairstow, Root, Morgan and Stokes were all firing.
