LCFC 1-3 Arsenal - Post Match Thread

Recommended Posts

Time to consider .Even when youri was closing in on the goal he looked like he was running in treacle - 7 minutes in .By the end everyone bar albrighton and under looked like they wanted to just sit down.

Good news last 10 when we were getting a bit desperate we did create a few half chances Give under and albrighton a start ,maybe youri from the bench if needed .Nacho is getting into scoring positions so I think we have to persevere  with him .At least its burnley next not chelsea or west ham

Oh and we are still third !

Very much detest players in Tierney play-acting and feigning injuries.

Should've been booked for faking being hit in the face yesterday.

Tierney, not Xhaka as first assumed.

Do you mean Tierney or was that another incident? It felt like they'd been told to immediate hold their heads (even if nothing had touched their heads) because the ref would stop the game. It's annoying that we want head injuries to be taken seriously and some teams/players attempt to take advantage of it. Tierney should have been booked. I don't get some players tbh. They know we can see they're acting. The same way they'll roll around as if shot from just the lightest brush but insult their haircuts they're up in somebody's face acting tough. It's laughable.

So someone another team doesn't want... they going to be good enough for a premier league team going for top 4? Bodies we have, we need quality.

So because somebody might not be wanted by say, Bayern Munich, or PSG, or Real Madrid, they're not good enough to be an 'option' for us? Yes they might well be good enough. Lingard was deemed not good enough for Man Utd yet they've loaned him out to a side chasing the top 4, who's chances of getting it have increased since making the move.

I'm deliberately naming foreign sides as in January we'd have been deemed more of a threat to Man Utd than West Ham. Bayern or whoever would have absolutely nothing to lose by loaning us somebody. In-fact - they might even see it as a potential plus as it might stop Liverpool getting into the CL at all.

Any decent player from those teams is a) already likely to be out on loan b) probably on too much money c) might not even want to step down. I'm sure we've asked about, but the reality is, like we found with Eriksson (who by the way people turned their noses up at) there are generally too many obstacles.

Draxler another example at PSG who apparently clubs asked and then shat themselves at the wages

It was Tierney. Players faking head injuries should be

retrospectively punished.

That was a bad piece of acting and should be censured post match. Surely the player knows the TV will pick up everything in detail.

They get off lightly while there is no crowd venting their displeasure.
