Ewing, Braybrooke, Alves not in the squad at all is interesting

Wormleighton back into the under 18s for their game tomorrow? (would be disappointing as I have been impressed by him)

Just realised probably because Braybrooke, Ewing, and Wormleighton played in the PL Cup?

No clue about Ewing though

...is the Rodgers factor trickling down the academy, all on a slide at the moment and no sign of it getting turned around!!!

Probably more to do with half of them having to be part of 1st team training, travelling and match days whilst also being expected to remember how to play as a team for both U18’s and U23’s….

Full time 3-1, first defeat in 7

Next game is Man Utd at home on Monday 4th April at the King Power, there are still 500+ tickets available (£3 adult, £1 under 18)

Joint lowest scorers. With the talent we have that’s definitely an issue.

Hopefully we start playing with Richards up top soon instead of playing wingers out of position.

Brunt at least on the bench for this one. Maybe 1 or 2 other kids as well.

Looking a bit thin on numbers the break after this will be well received.

Thought as much. Alves injured or involved? Not playing for 23’s or 18’s today.

Under 18s 1-0 up at half time away at Reading, Butterfill with the goal

Wow it was just my opinion and guessing like everyone else was.

Sorry!

I'm glad we have managed to put a decent team out to be honest!

You need to write ‘I think’ ahead of your post then ….. I often go to press submit reply and then realise that it’s way too definite…. Because you are considered to be someone who gets bits of info, there are people that will take definitive statements as being fact rather than opinion!

Academy Players Attend Player Development Day At St. George’s Park
ACADEMY
Published 20 mins ago

Leicester City Academy players joined clubs from up and down the country at a Player Development Day hosted by The Professional Footballers’ Association earlier this month.
Over 90 academy and professional players, including those from City's Under-15s and Under-16s, were accompanied by parents, coaches, practitioners, club staff and stakeholders for educational presentations, parent workshops and coaching sessions led by England Under-17 Head Coach Tom Curtis. Leicester City Academy Coach Ashvir Johal also coached on the day and supported in the planning of the event.

The home of English football, St. George’s Park, was the venue for the event, which forms part of the PFA’s Asian Inclusion Mentoring Scheme. AIMS was created to enhance the experience of British Asian footballers on the elite pathway by creating a structured network of support that allows them to thrive.

Danny Batth (Sunderland), Neil Taylor (Middlesbrough), Otis Khan (Leyton Orient) and Malvind Benning (Port Vale) are among the senior footballers mentoring scholars and emerging pros, with those players, in turn, sharing their academy experiences with their younger peers.

The programme has allowed players to connect, parents and practitioners to network and bring together communities that all have the aim to progress along the elite pathway.

Over the last 24 months we have laid some solid foundations upon which to build, and we will continue to work with our networks of clubs to provide additional wrap around support for players and families.

Riz Rehman The PFA’s Player Inclusion Executive
Following on from the previous AIMS Player Development Day events during 2021, there has been an appetite from players and families on the programme to connect and network more regularly.

These face-to-face events have proved a real highlight, giving players the opportunity to connect with peers from different clubs, partake in a coaching session as well as network and learn from professional player experiences.

PFA’s Player Inclusion Executive Riz Rehman said: “The momentum behind the PFA’s five-year strategy to increase Asian representation in the game is very strong and thanks must go to all the clubs who have fully supported and backed the scheme by connecting us with their players and families.

“Over the last 24 months, we have laid some solid foundations upon which to build, and we will continue to work with our networks of clubs to provide additional wrap-around support for players and families.”

Man Utd game moved to Seagrave, Blackburn game moved to King Power

Going to be interesting to see what they do with tickets for the Man Utd game because they sold more than Seagrave holds
