....I managed to catch the Pappa Johns Final on Sunday, who had two of our ex players featuring for Rotherham!!!

Joe Mattock and Wes Harding (came on as sub) and managed to help get them over the line. Harding did not get to play for the first team, but certainly was around at the same time as Hamza, Chilwell and is the same age as KDH.

  Mattock's career has slowly drifted, he looked capable of playing at a higher level at this time in his career, probably not the right mentality to compete with the best.

Wow... That team is oozing with talent! Alves, Braybrooke, Wanya, Popov, Wormleighton, etc. 

 

These lads could save us millions in the transfer market if we develop them correctly.

What would be our best 11 from the academy..? So many great talents, its incredible.

Wormleighton, Grist, Nelson, Lindsay

Wanya, Braybrooke, Cover

Popov, K.Pennant, Alves


Probably forgetting a few.

A lot of talent to look forward to. When you see KDH, Thomas, Barnes and Choudhury all playing in the senior team, it gives the younger lads plenty of inspiration to look up to.

...Braybrooke v Hannibal, it seems that Braybrooke has got the upper hand so far!!!

Hannibal's reputation suggest that he is being earmarked for their first team, Two very similar players, one's to watch for the future.

Some of these lads were training with the first team during the international break. That also couldn't have hurt.

Harding was never with us at youth level.

If I remember right he started at Villa.

I think he's from Oadby though.

I know it rarely happens. But given we will likely have a dead rubber or two towards the end of the season, I’d love to see a Watford style cup line up in the league, just to give these lads a taste of Premier League. Norwich game maybe 🤣

Had trials with us, and pretty sure I've read previously he was at Cov prior to Villa

We tried to sign Hannibal as well. Rejected us.
