Really impressed with the defence and Ewing today. Really like that RB, Braybrooke was poor

....he got better as the game wore on!!!

As the game starts to get more open he starts to shift up a gear. He started to win balls in his own half and looked to release players breaking forward. He has been playing a little too deep recently and is more effective when further up the pitch. His passes at the start were well below what we know he can deliver and he did struggle to get us on the ball more.

Difficult game to impose himself as we were disciplined in chasing shadows..

The fact Brunt has looked so good is exactly why we should trust the clubs recruitment sometimes.  Everyone was underwhelmed when he came in but he's probably progressed far quicker than the rest of our youth. Compare his early performances to now and its like night and day.

Sometimes a bit of faith and patience pays dividends

Brunt should be ahead of Vestergaard in the pecking order imo

Amazing the confidence a good appearance for the first team can do for young lads

Also this is down to Rodgers man management giving these young players that taste and hunger for first team football. KDH spoke about this with his cup appearance before his loan to Blackpool.

How do you go about getting tickets for the home development squad games?

They are available through the normal ticketing system on the website

Blackburn is currently sold out

Tickets haven't been on sale yet for these games (I think):

Man Utd @ King Power - Monday 4th April

Derby County @ ? - TBC, game was postponed in December due to Covid, originally meant to be played at King Power so hopefully still will be, no date yet

Liverpool @ Seagrave - Monday 25th April

Still a much better season than last years, also good to see defence probably joint best in the division!
