Yeah it's bizarre but we've had it confirmed on here from a friend of his Dad's that Will isn't 17 until May.

That's what I gather to be the case, Rudkin has made it abundantly clear just how much the club regard him in a bid to prevent any Tavares like scenario and another reason why he's pretty much bypassed U18's and straight in to U23's except for important U18 games.

Popov made his u21 debut today. Wonder how long it is before he's up and around the 23s. He's go to be a shout for one that get involved next pre season next year.

Mystifying why he's not had a single U23 appearance yet given we don't have any strikers in the U23's, it's not as if there's much the U18's have left to play for either as they've bombed out of everything.

Not too bad when I've been but I've been even when it was a sell out and they were worried about parking there were still enough spaces. Don't rely on there being any refreshments though - there's been a coffee van a couple of times that's all and not always.

.. Richards recently came to us, with a ringing endorsement, a very good potential, eager to progress  and Brandon Cover, who has a good deal of composure on the pitch.

 Not sure why Alves is not on the team sheet, but need to see him playing and strutting his stuff in this team. Good that they believe him capable of playing U23s, but he needs to be playing with freedom and not have his flair curtailed, in order to keep his position in the U23s.

Alves doesn't play for the under 18s anymore, he is firmly in the under 23s squad who have a game on Monday

I don't know how Reece Evans hasn't been called up from the 16's to the 18's yet. Physically he is like Bellingham was at 16 and is already stronger than many a few years older than him. It does seem that once the club have set which group the players are going to be with at the start of each season, there's very little movement bar the odd one of two.

I'd be fascinated to ask why. Paul McGuinness must have a view on this, his Man Utd academy teams were often fast tracked at every opportunity.
