Looking at the Premier League Retained List below he is still listed at the club, however nothing indicating as to whether he has been released, offered a new deal, or already extended

 

Could be there hasn't been a decision made yet / we are waiting for him to indicate what he wants to do

In the first game of his loan spell in Scotland he injured a Celtic player in front of their manager Brendan Rogers, who joined Leicester a couple of weeks later.  I think the main reason why Brendan joined the Foxes was so that he could take vengeance on Darnell Johnson's career.

 

Seriously though, I thought Darnell was the outstanding player in 2018/19 pre-season while first team regulars were rested after the World Cup, and its a shame he never really got another chance to show what he could do.  Hope he gets another chance in the Championship or League One.

He did. Loans spells at Hibernian, Wimbledon and Wigan have been poor.

YT has been offered a new contract ,but he is going to wait until after the EUROS and decide if he is going to stay at leicester ,I think he might as he has said he is very happy at Leicester

Fair point ,but we dont know how much the city will offer him ,imo it needs to be a really good offer for him to stay, but saying that I still think he will stay with the foxes

I think you are right and he will stay. The problem is the same though, we're never going to be able to compete with the top 4 who can offer him twice what we can and more.

The figures are obscene to ordinary working people and it's hard to blame any player for taking it when we know how quickly things can change for the worse in Football.

Let's just hope he does stay because we are so close to being a world class side.
