I mean you look at that top division and think that's tough for Bochum to stay in it.

Them along with Furth you would have down to struggle. But then can throw in will Koln have another stinker, will Union Berlin struggle to manage European games too and will Bielefeld have a second season syndrome.

I don't know if it's because it's been on the cards for a few seasons or whether I've just happened to miss it all, but Bremen's relegation doesn't seem to have had much coverage at all. Looks like it'll be a good season in both of them divisions.

Pretty much just got overshadowed by Schalke

Really is quite strange then how much they seemed to get barely any mention compared to Schalke in the media, first I had seen about Bremen going down was you mentioning it earlier!

Seems like it has been coming though for Bremen after escaping relegation via the playoffs last season as well

Though an hard BVB fan, I had a soft Spot for Werder especially under Otto...  Great Football for a neutral...

Last 6+ years they have been struggling...( Politics & finances)

Arguably Bochum's best and certainly most creative player Robert Zulj has disappointingly jumped ship and has missed out on crack at first division football for a load of $$$ out in Dubai.

13 goals and 15 assists last season, he leaves a big hole.

Using a clause in his contract as well, sounds like Bochum won't even get anything for him either?

Return of fans confirmed in Germany for the start of the season.

50% capacity or 25,000 (whichever is lower)

If the case rate goes above 35 (per 100K) then max 5,000

Proof of COVID status (vaccination, recovery or negative test)

Masks unless seated

Some states can impose variances on those. For example, in Bavaria, only 35% capacity is allowed for now.

This seems the much more logical way than opening up completely like the Government has done here. Still allows a good size of fans in and keeps a bit of a lid on the spread.

Seen a lot of people chuffed with it but I suspect that's no Bundesliga 2 and the live coverage significantly reduced

Looks like both statements are going to be correct. No 2:30pm game, and not a mention of B2 at all. Looks like just the one game on Sundays as well unless it goes on their YouTube channel?
