Golf... hot no cold beer on tap but entertaining. Cricket... hot, probably hotter than golf. Cold beer available but boring... IMO

You might be able to answer this Para...

I was reading about how to keep cool and hydrated, for obvious reasons.

One thing I saw was if you're really dehydrated, have one beer for quick hydration, but follow it up with loads of water, no more beer.

True? I'm guessing the beer would have sugars in it that your body needs?

And I'm thinking maybe neither.

A day inside of hydrating and looking after myself will be better.

Plenty of time for cricket and golf.

It ain't right to lose half a stone in a day lol

I'm actually getting to an age where I worry about my health and listen to my body.

Beer sure has sugar and water but it's alcohol which is also a diuretic (makes you pee thereby losing fluids). Best I think is the much maligned lucozade/Gatorade type drinks. Sugar and salt supplements along with water in their ingredients

Ah, to be about 12 years old again, when you're sick and your mum gets you a proper litre glass bottle of Lucozade while you lie on the sofa under a duvet.

Take me back! I can't be the only one?

My brother had a mate who'd drink orange Bacardi Breezers if he was ill.

Just been relaxing in the pool in the garden (It's one of those Intex ones before people start thinking I'm Elton John or something) then had an almost cold shower, got my temperature down nicely.

Just lain down on the bed and it's like there's been an electric blanket warming it up for the last hour

Lol. Tbh both suck equally as much.

One moment your wringing your balls out....and the next your sending a search and rescue party to look for your balls which have gravitated up into your stomach to stay luke cool and not drop off.

To be fair I was probably too young to be drinking bacardi breezers by the time they were discontinued

Oh ffs, rub it in mate.

I don't know how old you are, but I guarantee you're under 38 if you don't know what a Reef is.

I'm jealous.

Just had a look and apparently they were discontinued in 2015. No chance you could still get them 7 years ago!

I'm 36 and they were my staple diet from 16-18.
