To be honest if your celebrating a goal and jumping around like most, you shouldn't really notice of there is goal music?

Each to their own, but if we people are still moaning about this then the club are doing something  good.

I agree with you on this (just checked to see if hell had frozen over 😂😂😂

I’m just watching the Sky Sports highlights on YouTube and it sounds like a lot are singing along with the goal music - so some clearly enjoyed it. But I’ll be honest, I didn’t notice it at the time, we were too busy celebrating.

We're a family orientated club, there will always be things like clappers and goal music.

Yep. I think kids on the whole love music to celebrate goals.

If it were up to me I’d have no music at all except the post horn gallop, but even a grumpy old sod like me isn’t really that bothered by it.

Why is it affecting you so much? Mardy bugger

It sure does sound like it’s affected you quite deeply.

If it’s there next game, fine. If it’s not, also fine. I go to watch the game and have a good time, not nitpick such minor things

Why is his opinion on this affecting you so much?  What a weird topic to pick a fight over.  By all accounts you surely have to agree it's unnecessary if you didn't even notice it, or did it start a party for you?  I can't work out which of your opinions is the one you really think. lol

He is really concerned about how bad I have been affected. It’s nice and comforting but also abit odd.

It’s entirely unnecessary. That’s my point.

I’m trying to coax a reasonable argument out of you, but there wasn’t one 😂

No, my point is moaning about bloody goal music is unnecessary. We’ve not had a full stadium for so long and this is the topic of conversation post game. Pissing ridiculous

Either the speaker near didn’t work or Im going deaf as I could barely hear anything through the tannoy system, didn’t hear any goal music myself but assumed there was some by the crowd signing along with it, didn’t notice any music being played at half time and easily had conversations around me

This is topic of conversation post game.  Nobody's forcing you to read this particular thread and engage it.  If it's upsetting you just close the thread?  Or post that you aren't bothered by it without picking fights like the guy 2 posts above me?

Exactly, no drama is needed. No thread is needed.

No moaning bloody needed. 😂😂😂

I wasn’t at the game today, but generally speaking, it seems to me that goal music is simply used as a form of crowd control.

Instead of an entire mass of people going mad, jumping around on top of each other in a totally uncontrolled way they blast out a tune, everybody sings/claps/bounces along and as soon as it’s over sits down again.

maybe I’m totally wrong but that’s how it always came across to me when I did attend marches both with and without music.

Same applies to pre-match music as well, as much as the teams have their routine of walk out, line up. Shake hands etc - the crowd has its music/video routine too and it keeps us all in our seats and behaving exactly as the club want us to
