Kasper - wasn't at fault for the concessions. Was otherwise hardly called upon.

 

Amartey - slipped for the Russians's 2nd but I thought was otherwise quite solid.

 

Ricardo and Luke T - not great. Ideally, Luke would get time to rebuild his game.

 

Soyuncu - OK.  Not his fault he got a poor pass and was pressed.

 

Hamza - was a tad invisible when he came in.

 

Madders, very good

 

Evans, very good.

 

Youri, brilliant, especially 2nd half. Hope he's OK.

 

Kalechi, started slow, but great link up with Daka. Worked and worked.

 

Soumare outstanding.

Hamza and Thomas are poor players in general but ok squad players.

Betrand and Vestergard are ridiculously bad it’s embarrassing. I don’t want to see them ever play for us again. There’s not a CB in the league as bad as him, not a chance.

Evans 7 So vital to us at the back. 
Soyuncu 6 Did ok but again put us in trouble 

Thomas 6 Wouldn’t mind seeing him go on loan. Our weak link again. 
Ricardo 6 Unlucky to be booked and provided some great width down the right. 
Tielemans 7 Lovely assist, controlled the game for us and got us playing. 
Soumare 9 An absolute beast. Bullied their midfield with his powerful running and great work rate. 
Maddison 7 His best performance this season. Lovely assist and played with a spring in his step. 
Iheanacho 7 A poor first half but much better in the second. 2 decent assists. 
Daka 10 Can’t say much fairer than that after scoring 4 goals.

I was defending him against the get in the bin reference....Hes a local lad and we all want him to do well so he deserves chances...I admit he was often poor but he has the potential and has time to learn....away from the main squad perhaps out on loan
