Please cheer me up BBC, by focusing on a small child crying after the shootout. I dont care which one as long as they are a small child crying so I can laugh at them.

I’ll get this in now so it doesn’t sound like sour grapes but I don’t think it should come down to how well your keeper or even CB can take a penalty. Yes it’s a team game but shooting isn’t in the top skill sets of certain positions. I think naming 5 or even 4 and letting them continue until a result is a better option. If it gets that far I think Liverpool have a couple more likely failures than Chelsea.

Shootouts in rugby are rare but that used to work down the players similar to football but now you nominate 3 players who kick. Think you have a point with football.
