I wouldn't bet on it. Top will safeguard KP over us. If we keep making financial mistakes we could very easy end up the next Wednesday.

He's just as dangerous as Chansiri. Both do what they want and tell fans nothing. Both started crying when fans had a go.

They ain't that different.

our problem has never been that our losses were not sustainable, it had been that we can’t meet PSR regulations. We don’t have an aging stadium that parts have been closed due to disrepair, we haven’t even come close to not  being able to pay our staff and we have lots of sellable assets.

No. But we've just sold some of our best players and spent nothing to meet psr. Yet again we've borrowed money against future earning to pay running  costs.

How long can we keep that up if we don't go up.

We can't even get a shirt sponsor.

We are far from safe the way we are run.

that’s a very normal practice that many clubs utilize. It isn’t anything we should be concerned about.

ANY club that gets relegated will sell players. We do that to try and meet PSR regulations with our current income.… but that doesn’t mean we are in financial disarray. That’s just sensible.

With regards to the shirt sponsor.. sounds like King Power were up to their old tricks again… it’s not that we couldn’t get anyone else it’s that this dodgy gambling ‘ company’ were  going to pay more than anyone else. By the time that was all rumbled, it was too late to organize another for the season.

King Power have made some terrible  decisions last few years, but none of them have threatened the future of the club like Wednesday have and neither should what has been happening this close season be taken as anything other than normal financial house cleaning for a relegated club.

how long can it go on for if we don’t get promoted? Well if we continue to shift the deadwood like we did this  season then  we will be fine.

You say about shifting the deadwood we need to shift some top management first as they got us into this mess

i don’t disagree with you that a change of owners would be good… my only point is that we are NOT on a par with Sheffield Wednesday..

Ha Ha, to the right of the plan there is no river/canal, but there seems to be a major road. Must be legit. :)

Think someone might need a trip to Specsavers… and if you think rivers look like roads I really hope you are not driving 😂

Would prefer a 'home-grown' billionaire in the UK game for clubs, but it is what it is.

He’s only worth around £2.1b.

Kuhn Top is worth around £2.8b.

No idea about the other guy but it’s not like Top is pumping any of his money in, especially as KP are struggling.

No losses are sustainable. No business losing money can survive unless the owner covers the losses. Our owner clearly can't do that. So we've moved out two of our best plus some just to make ends meet. Borrowed money to pay the bills. Sooner or later we won't have prem/parachute payments and no one to sell for a big fee. We are two years from being Wednesday at best if we don't go up.

KP ain't going to save us they are taking us down. Top's empire is a crumbling ruin. The sooner some wake up and smell the shit we are in the better.

Business's borrow money for a better machine not to pay Peter n Paul.

Unlike Chansiri, I don't think Top has purposefully damaged the club. He's a naive rich kid, nice but dim. To make matters worse, he surrounded himself with half wits. Hopefully Marti can turn the club around.

He's not damaged it yet. If we don't go up (pts deduction incoming) we are screwed. We've borrowed parachute payments to keep us going so please explain how we pay for next year. Another loan against what? The training ground?

Oh our sustainable losses you mean the money KP put in then converted it to shares? The same king power that's now on its arse but our out goings exceed our in comings.

Always thought you was one of the bright ones.

Losses and football sort of go together in all

honesty.

Prior to PSR, it had started to become a billionaires play thing in the Premier League.

Unfortunately if we can’t increase our commercial revenue we are going to struggle at that top table, as others are so much better at this.

Expanding our stadium is only one part of the puzzle and we’ve stalled (for reasons I believe which I highlighted earlier this week).

By expanding the stadium and surrounding area, you can increase ticket sales, merchandise, shop footfall, food and drinks sales and you’ll also get more for your VIP packages.

With that extra income, you’re then back into the Premier League which comes with higher TV money, better uptake on club subsection services (membership :@) and other things like increased sponsorship potential.

When you look at Sponsorship you’ve got main kits, training kits, water bottles, stadium hoardings, the stadium name etc

The biggest thing for extra room with our expansion though, was potentially using the upgrade to make it a proper multi-use event venue. The reason Tottenham will start to grow as a club and I think hinge toward a super power, is that stadium is potentially the best one in the world. It can hold any type of event.

Our expansion plans weren’t just an extra 8,000 seats.

It was increased hospitality area, a residential tower,  a hotel, large fan store and a multi use indoor arena alongside the stadium and a full upgrade for it to be used outside of match days.

It was estimated to add around 1,000 extra jobs to the Leicester employment pipeline once it was finished, so it was a significant size.

I really don’t think King Power can financially  now push on to make those investments to take us to that level.

The reason I mentioned Turki Al-Sheikh, is if he’s interested in Bristol City, it’s potentially due to him having sold Almeria to other Saudi investors. Turki Al-Sheikh might just be looking for a way into English football, so if we have become available for sale, we might gain a bit more interest once the points deduction has been decided.

We stand a great chance of going back to the Premier League and that’s where any potential investor will want to be.

Al-Sheikh is though potentially the grandest showman in the world now for sports promoters. Whoever he buys would potentially be on a whirlwind of investment and further growth. You can guarantee they’d become media darlings with Wrexham like coverage, major infrastructure investment, then links to super enhance the image.

If that’s us, I’m Not sure the plans King Power had in place for us, are grand enough for him. I think he’d want to go larger.

TBF he said "not to pay Peter and Paul", so what does he know?
