Please don't shoot me down for this, I like WYS as a song, but think it's a bit dull right before a game - be better to be played straight after a home win IMO.

Maddison said in an interview he loved hearing it before the game. If it gets the players up for it that's the main thing.

I think it needs time, definitely noticed more people singing it with gusto last night. Imagine how it would sound if all the ground sang like Liverpool fans do with YNWA.

Couldn't believe it when I saw that this morning! Didn't back their team while they were still in the game, just a bit of performative chanting once it had gone to show what great fans they are.

 

Don't get me wrong, you could hear them at the other end of the ground for five or ten minutes (pretty rare where I am) but it's laughable to suggest their overall support was anything other than underwhelming.

Was very disappointed with the amount of people leaving early and going down to fill their faces at half time. 

 

More of our fans by % leaving early than fans of a team who have just been drilled 4-0

I am the idiot in question. It clearly wasn’t intentional. Why on earth would I do that myself? I was knocked in the celebration but in reality it was nobodies fault but my own.
