It's absolutely ridiculous that the Premier league haven't allowed clubs to loan players from Ukraine. It just gives an advantage to teams in other leagues with no reason why it couldn't have happened. Did the Premier league allow the 20 clubs to vote on whether they should be allowed to sign players from Ukraine? Not to my knowledge. Absolute farce!

Yet they were perfectly fine with Newcastle missing games until after Jan when they bought their way out of relegation. Getting so boring

We missed quite a few games ourselves.

Sorry I meant more that their policy on registration/ transfers etc for rescheduled games gave Newcastle an unfair advantage, but they can’t offer employment and safe passage to Ukrainian/Russian players? Stinks imo

Depends how much he likes it at Lyon and what they'll pay him. I'd have thought they could stretch to 60 bags a week

Lyons is a major city on the Rhone and near to the mountains and the Med. It also has a 60,000 seat stadium and European football. If you were living in a warzone , it would seem like Paradise.

Leicester is a major City on the Soar, close to Braggy park & Rutland water, it also has a big all seater stadium and European football, if he likes a war zone we have St Matthews, it is paradise… :jawdrop:

You can always trump glamour with money, so if they offer him £6 million a year , we go to 10 million ,that should get the job done.

Lyon played Angers earlier. Tete comes in in the 75th minute. Scores in the 80th minute.

:nigel:

Takes him 5mins to score and how many more will he score....no chance he comes to us now.... he'll have a host of clubs after him now.

And Lyon favorite to make his loan permanent

A lot of anger here against something we had no control over

P***ed of at the Premier league for not allowing EPL teams to sign players to play immediately, while the French are allowing them to play.

Suppose players don't want to be sitting around for 8 to 9 months
