Did you read it fully? It says he's got another year on his contract and intends to honour it?

I was thinking about next season in my brain as this season as I’ve been ready to call it quits for a while with this one 😂

Can’t believe the left foot volley v WBA doesn’t get more attention. It’s a joke now under rated he is.

I’ve always loved those very similar 30 yard lobs on the volley vs Bournemouth and Spurs.

His counter attack brace at Sunderland. The keeper came out for one and not the other, made no difference. There should be a saying for only having two ill fated options.......

Not a goal but Newcastle at home, same league winning season, when a defender launched him into the bill boards at the half way line. It was like the frustrations of every league defender combined in one

He’s come along way from that Striker who couldn’t score for Toffee who frustrated us for a season or So then came to life in the premier League as the Jamie Vardy we all know adore and idolise, what a Legend what a Goat !

I’m still convinced that the winner he got against West Brom was the turning point in the great escape season.

He and we, went mental when he ran in on goal and smacked it home. I remember us all feeling so dejected when we’d gone in at half time losing.

I've always felt the same and can replay that goal in my mind to this day and I don't think it will ever leave me.  We'd actually registered our first victory in yonks the week before  at home v W Ham but it was the whole manner of that last minute goal, and the win it brought, that first gave me the warm feeling we were going to survive.  Vardy's aggression and determination to rob the defender on the touchline, then streaking down towards goal with only one intention, and after all that producing the perfect cool and clinical finish. Just beautiful.

If ever there was a goal I wish I could have witnessed, this was it.

I did but was in the Brummie Rd end with my West Brom mate.

Very ,very difficult to hold that emotion in, but a brilliant moment and our end was a superb sight

Have a scary feeling tomorrow could be his last game for us .

Wouldn't at all be surprised if this court case goes bad and they decide to go and live in the states, to get away from the British press😒

Some of the best scenes were in that away end that day 🦊

With the benefit of hindsight, this looks like it was a huge trigger moment for Vardy, a lot of released pent up anger and frustration. I didn't see what was coming for him or us, certainly not to the extent that happened, but it makes sense in light of this event - surely one of those matches etched into Foxes folklore as defining and pivotal.

I has the picture of the christ like vardy celebrating  in front of the foxes fans as my wallpaper for years -  what I loved were the expressions on the fans faces.

Why would they, it not a criminal case it a civil case.

Unlike criminal case you can make money off civil case, they will be selling there side of the story to newpapers, magazines, writing a bloody book.

Whatever the outcome they will be laugh all the way to the bank, easy money

I just am not sure what R.Vardy hopes to gain from moving to the U.S., aside from being more active in the Rochester soccer team reality show. Upstate New York is no paradise and she isn't Posh Spice (who isn't even really B-list in the US).

I know she seems to have been a hugely positive influence personally on Jamie, but otherwise she seems to be the worst type of fameseeking [insert word of choice]. Selling out her -- and her husband's-- friends to the Sun for peanuts in the hopes of positive coverage. Just weird. But the States doesn't have WAG culture and purely British celebrities can walk the streets completely unrecognised (Robbie Williams once said this is one of the reasons he likes living in Los Angeles.)

Wayne and Colleen hated it in the States. I can't see Mrs. Vardy appreciating the anonymity.

The biggest improvement in Vardy’s game was his first touch.

He’d always been a good finisher at Fleetwood and before that and had scored plenty of goals at every level he’d played at.

Nige and Walshy clearly drummed that aspect of his game into him because when he first joined City, the ball just kept bouncing off him.

If I remember rightly it was in his second season that his initial control of the ball improved dramatically.

And of course, if your first touch is better, you can set yourself to shoot

My dad has had two sons, but his favourite boy is Jamie Vardy 🤣

Depending on injuries I think Vards has got a couple more seasons left in him.

Yes!

I can't find it now... I must have it someplace... but I loved looking at all the faces in focus
