Abraham seemed in two minds whether to go down or not which I think was the issue. Also Roma can't exactly complain about bad decisions can they.

Oh, look.

You can actually have a go at Roma, create chances and force their keeper in to making saves.

I was assured just a couple of weeks ago that you couldn't, because they have 'European know-how' lol

Perhaps you just have to have some ambition.

Savage begging for a red, that is so soft. At first glance looked bad, but you can see on the replay it's not actually that bad.

I can't believe anyone would think its not, if you run at that speed and someone pulls your arm suddenly it is going to considering slow you down from a certain one to one.

If that's a red then the game has well and truly gone

I mean they're right that if Abraham had gone down it probably would have been a red.

You can debate whether it should be all night.

I'm more annoyed about the commentator talking about FM and FIFA ratings ffs you're a grown adult.

We arent talking about a last ditch tackle or a shoulder barge, we're talking about someone pulling someone's arm back to stop them running. I can't remember that ever being part of the game.

Did you actually see the grip he had on his arm? I just think Abraham can't decide if to go down or not

Good point made about players having to go down to get a decision.

Bring me Arne Slot to Leicester, he is our future once Brendan buggers off.

They are electric second half.

Really highlights how poor we were that night. By the time Rodgers has gone, Slot will have moved on unfortunately.

Ngl I hate how narrow they are.

Ajax and PSV got new managers so unless they are disasters then we've a good a chance as any, Rodgers may well be gone mid season if this summer is a horror show.

I mean they've scored no more than we did and created few clear cut chances. It's watching a lot like us playing them. A lot of bluster and no cut.

Took us far too long in the first leg to apply some width and go round them.

Cool name and looks like a Bruce Willis / Ronaldo Nazario cross too.

They don't usually operate like that, this is to counter how pragmatic Roma play and how easy their back 3 and wingbacks find it if they aren't drawn out of position. Trying to overload the centre.

At least they've had a go, what was it for us no shot on target until 70 odd minutes. How many have Feyenoord had already, plus they've needed a very good save from Patricio.

They've hit the woodwork twice and Nelson and Dessers should have done better with half chances opened up too.

It's all set up for my boy Walemark to come on and score a shitpinger.

Their chances have predominantly been either from outside the box or trying to over work it and smash it point blank at defenders, though.

We've seen us play a lot like this recently, a lot of possession in front of a team without getting properly behind them.

Edit: for the record, full credit to Roma who are extremely difficult to play against.

I can't imagine we'd be brave enough to go for Slot mid season. Also I can imagine him having a number of admirers outside of The Netherlands
