Maswanhise scores again!

His end product has been ridiculous this season. 3 goals in 3 games and was unlucky to hit the post prior to Hirst’s goal.

Get him in the squad vs Stockport next week, he looks ready.

Alves not getting in the box quick enough, concerned they are trying to take his maverick attacking instincts out of his game by playing him as a CM 😢

Was just about to say, he's probably earned a squad spot for that game.

I'd rather Alves is taught/experimented there and to graft a bit - it's not all the fancy flicks and tricks. But that should never be coached out of him. He can be like Maddison - show the flair in the right positions but have the discipline to play elsewhere if tried too.

Hopefully Ewing regains his fitness soon so he can partner Braybrooke in midfield & remove Alves from his deep lying role. He’s really struggling to impact the game in this position and needs to be playing higher up the pitch.

Or they are making work on the things he finds more difficult.

Development is as much about working on weakness as much as strengths.

True but I feel like he needs to work on what he is good at before rhst at this level as he's yet to really make a sustained impact at U21/23 level. U18's is a piece of piss for him in comparison.

I think it's just about adjusting to the physicality, he's still a young lad.

Love Maswanhise’s movement. Drifted in from the left then switched the play to the right. Couple seconds later he’s in the box on the end of a one two and gets a shot off at goal. Lovely stuff.

given the "no wingers" Brendan keeps banging on about how has Maswanhise not got a bench spot before yet?

Hopefully he will get some time at Stockport.

Wright whilst sloppy a few times can see he has football league experience, brain seems step ahead of everyone else.

also 2 good goals coming from a striker occupying a defender in the box, who’s have thought it.

Exactly what i was thinking, he looks a bit subdued.

If Castagne and JJ get injured I hope Brendan gives Wormleighton a chance instead of resorting to Amartey or Albrighton.

Loves a hard tackle doesnt he. He always impresses me when i see him, looks promising.
