Is maswanhise deemed a striker now? Or was he always but was played out wide a few times to see how he’d fair?

He is definitely a winger, but for whatever reason Petty has taken to playing non-strikers as strikers

 

We were even playing a 5ft nothing Fitzhugh as a striker at one point last season

I mean it would seem he’s took to it very well this season, to Popov’s expense… I’d be interested to seen them play next to each other actually

Ideally we would fob off McAteer, put Maswanhise back on the left and put Popov upfront

What does he have to lose, show some faith in them you find another Barnes

Agree with it or not, but much of football management is politics. If he adds a youth team player he has to drop someone... thats one more enemy in the dressing room. He's probably got enough dressing room headaches to deal with.

Thought so, reading development squad match report and clicked him name whilst scrolling, lcfc website has him born 2004!

Great question- I haven’t seen anything about this role since Guy Branston left about 3 years ago and didn’t someone on loan last season say they had no contact from the club during the loan? Maybe Wright or Hirst

If there was an injury to Castagne or Justin how far do we think Wormleighton is from being give a game at RB here?

From those who have seen him is he better than Amartey or Albrighton in that role.
