I didn’t realise how comfortable we were until

the 83rd minute. I always thought we were under immense pressure until that goal. We weren’t.

as for Martyn Tyler - he’s commentating was just as annoying as it is now. One bit, around the 70th minute. We just spent 5 minutes with the ball, quite comfortably in their half. They finally make a forward run and Tyler turns around and says: Payet is beginning to pull the strings. Right, Martyn.

Currently on Sky Sports PL.

I forgot how good both Morgan and Huth were at defending.

Do you know if they are showing a reply late tonight? sometimes Sky re run it at like midnight.

Will watch it tonight if so.

What absolute balls of steel Ulloa had that season. 3 or 4 times that season our momentum was faltering and he stepped up when it really mattered in huge moments. Absolute cult hero.

Balls of steel, Came to say this exact words about Ulloa. Don’t think i have ever been as nervous during a football match could see our title going down the pan if he missed

Yep and thought the same thing about this could be the start of us bottling it in the 88th minute of that Norwich game too (which was the game after the last minute loss to Arsenal) before he got the last minute goal. And I was bricking it without Vardy vs Swansea too when Ulloa was immense.

Scored some massive goals in the great escape season too.

I know it was Moss refereeing but even by his standards that Schlupp pen was a disgrace of a decision.

I think he gives it because he knows he should've given the one against Huth.

The one he didn’t give, where Ogbonna has his arms round Huth’s neck, is pretty wild, too.

Shame they won’t have the game at Upton Park. We were superb that day too and Payet was bloody incredible

That was a great game in brilliant weather - our last one at Upton Park. West Ham were very good second half, Shinji and Vardy were brilliant in the first. Schmeichel should have been sent off (we had a teenage keeper on the bench), Adrian was sent off at the end for de Jonging one of our players.

Also had a low-key favourite goal of mine, Mahrez had 80% of the goal to aim at for his goal but still smashed it into the top corner anyway.

Cresswell goal was a cracker wasnt it, one of the goals I remember wanting to be annoyed at but couldnt due to us not really being able to do much about it, was just left a bit dejected after it.

As others have said, incredible relief at the end, Ulloa was a warrior and absolute legend for us, Huth and Morgan were incredible.

Our penalty was probably the worst decision of the whole game

IMO...

He got the Vardy dive right

He got the West Ham pen wrong

He got the Huth arm round the neck pen not given wrong

He got the Schlupp pen wrong

1/4. Fvck sake...

He was also our best defender from corners..cut out so many when he stood at the front of the six yard box..we have never replaced him

I'm not even sure that he got the Vardy dive right. He obviously put himself into a position to initiate contact (as most strikers do) and there was contact. We see those given virtually every week. If Moss decided that it wasn't a foul (refs call on that) the correct decision should have been no foul, no yellow card, goal kick and get on with it. Vardy should not have been on the first yellow either. Which ever way, it was a complete cock up.

Payet (on a yellow for something that would probably be a red today) did a far more obvious dive 10 minutes after Vardy had been sent off (albeit outside the box) and it was totally ignored.

Every single set piece at both ends of the pitch was a wrestling match, I seem to remember Vardy getting throttled after about 5 minutes from a long throw.

It was a properly dreadful refereeing performance but it played its part in making it a memorable game.

IMO...

If we had Händler him better and fairly...

Then a Random Promise from Club side Not honoued....

He would of been probably still here, knowing the Loyalty of the owners...

I Never understand those few from this forum who questioned him....

He was/is exactly that Type of striker Partner for Vardy/Barnes/Maddison/Albrighton..then our FBs we need (ed),

Two old men Vardy/Ulloa leading the line together...or singularly..If would of payed off...

I like Nacho,But we & himself have never learnt how to get/Build  regularly  that consistency..

Many on this fanbase underrated  him

& Ulloa could hold up the ball, & seen a Pass even on a bad day..

I don't think that I've ever seen a crowd so wound up and agitated as that day. Even some of the placid oldies around me were doing their nut. Probably why the celebrations were so crazy after Leo's pen. My son sat down in his seat, head in hands unable to watch. Never seen him do that before or since. The closest that I've come to that was Parker's pen at Wembley.
