How come we’ve got 2 European teams

Europe are the exception to the 2 confederation rule. But no more than 2.

So we just happen to get drew in pretty much the same group as the last time we were in the WC? What are the chances of that?

No it's just to do with the confederations, only European teams can play each other in the groups, but only a max of two European teams per group.

And then accounting for the teams that are to be drawn that will come from certain confederations.
