Ausden Clark have changed names for the supporters travel… and upped prices. £23 to Preston.

New site looks good as we can now pick our own seats etc. and we get a free bottle of water 😂😂🤷‍♂️

Hardly surprising the price has gone up when their biggest overhead is diesel.

Probably the increase most justified

That’s really good. I’ve used them three times over the last few years and each time been very impressed. If I lived in Leicester I would use them more

Indeed. £15 was a steal before considering it was the same price no matter where the ground was.

Just as a comparison an adult rail ticket is 61.80 from syston for this fixture so 23 quid is a good saving.

However 1 adult and 1 child with a railcard is 52.30 so whilst still a saving it shows how messed up our trains are that it's cheaper for 2 to travel than 1 for the cost of a 40 quid 3 year rail card.

Ps yes I am up to early and bored lol

I've used the Ausden Clark travel a few time and I've always found them very good.

People always friendly and the coach always arrives with enough time to go for a few beers. For Liverpool,  they dropped off in the City centre then after a few hours they took you to the ground.

I prefer to drive now but that's only because I have a lease car where I have lots of surpluses mileage to use up!

Inevitable really as others have said. Be interesting to see how Fox travel price compares this season. Trains not ideal if things continue how they are at the moment.

Maybe the ‘20s plenty’ campaign will start gaining momentum again for away tickets. I think Southampton still charge that as their sponsor Virgin Media subsidises.

I’ve never used them, and I’m only curious, but could you get a couple of cans of ale on with you on these? £23 and a couple of beers to Preston is good value in the currant climate, better value than the train.

When I used them around 10-12 years ago there was a no alcohol policy. Doubt it will have changed.

It's actually an offence to drink on a coach madness they sell beer on trains and planes, and your mates can drink in your car. But nope not on a coach.

Been known to smuggle a few vodkas in coke bottles over the years. But not for a long while.

They basically used to use the threat at if you got stopped and turned round the whole coach is gonna be after your head.

The fact that ausden do get you into town early enough for a beer and treat you as adults is a bonus.

Had to use them for Swansea in 15 and they dropped us in town and tell you the time the coach is heading to the ground and if you ain't on it. Then taxi or walk it is.

For Leeds last season they dropped us at Elland Rd. We just jumped in an uber to a pub with Dave from the pharmacy who is normally on the syston coach.

So much better than Fox Travel. If you have to use one.

Am I reading that right? Pick up from the Hobby Horse?

Is that for all games? If so could be very handy.

One coach usually picks up from hobby horse and 2 others pick up from counting house for Premier League. I think there isn’t as much demand for Preston though.

It won’t have changed because if the police stop the coach and search it, if alcohol is found then no-one on the coach will be allowed into the ground.

Yes they do hobby horse pick up and drop off. Only issue is, if the coach isn't full at syston, they will still go into Leicester to pick up and drop off which is a right pain when you are going north lol

I’d imagine that could stop now they’re letting customers pick their seats

More to do with if coach isn't full, if you select syston as a pick up they do it 1st and drop off last, but fill it with people from Leicester. No point in running a half empty coach. All syston collections were always on the same coach.
