KDH is destined to be our captain and rightly so.

 

The question is when.

KDH has been mentioned by Rodgers and others as a future captain. If not now, then when? If it's Vardy it could end up being passed around anyway as he might only have this season left, same with Evans as his recent history with injuries suggests he might not play twice a week.

The club is changing, what better time to give the captaincy to one of our own?

It’s not just about a captain, but we need leaders all over the park. I think one thing last season when we had the second string playing, especially in the backline the likes of Amartey, Soyuncu, Thomas, Choudhury although they can come in and do a job, they’re not leaders and I think this was part of our problem with set plays.

We now should have Castagne, Evans, Vardy in the team a lot more and I think KDH and Maddison show they can lead. Ndidi leads by example. I think this will be huge for us, without Kasper. We need to keep Castagne and Evans fit and on the pitch as often as possible

He leads with his work rate and attitude alone.

Evans has bags full of experience and betters those around him - for me he's a clear leader,

Seems to be a lot of chatter about KDH being club captain. 

 

Whilst he's only just starting his full second season with us in the PL I reckon its premature to discuss him as captain. Maybe next year.

There are 2 elements to the captaincy.

 

Off the pitch club duties, press conferences being a club ambassador and that should be Evans or Vardy.

 

On the pitch is actually less important apart from calling the toss and talking to the ref it shouldn't change anybody's attitude. I think someone like KDH having the armband at some point, if Vardy and Evans are unavailable, would not be a bad thing but he is nowhere near experienced enough for being the club captain and will have enough to worry about maintaining form for the coming season.

Honestly!   

 

Rubbish. Maddison and KDH were exerting a lot of influence last season.   Players would follow Evans.  Vardy is a leader by example.

KDH I agree is a future captain. Not sure if now is too soon?

 

Maybe the best thing is to make someone else captain (Maddison/Evans/Vardy) and have KDH as vice captain so he fills in. I mean if Vardy or Evans get it, KDH would step up for half the games due to injuries to Vardy/Evans.
