Yeah this. As soon as anti Rodgers was getting more likes on Twitter that's when it changed from him.

Think thats a pretty cynical way of looking at it.

I just think it's got particularly bad recently, and Rodgers has become more transparent about blaming everyone but himself.

What a take.

Never changed your mind on anything have you?

If you listened to it, he explained it very clearly.

The issues we've go got back much further than the last 6 games, but it's only in the last few weeks he's accepted any kind of criticism of the manager.

What will he do if not on radio Leicester?

His son plays for Burton and he wants to watch and support him at weekends from next season

Yeah mate but you can put the same criticism on the door of about 50% of our fan base.

And as a previous poster has just said, he’s not just randomly changed his mind… he’s explained why he feels this way.

Enjoyed listening to this.

Mainly because we as fans can find it so relatable. Not just Piper, either. It's like those in the media finally cotton on.

You'll still get some dullards in media who don't know the situation and back Brendan and purely rely on FA Cup success. Without taking in any of the nuance of the current situation.

Anyone got the time to paraphrase the key points for those that cannot listen either because they cant receive RL or can't hear.

About 6 months ago, there was a group on here who every time Brendan Rodgers was criticised would jump in and tell the world how delusional the critic was.

A lot of those geniuses have changed their mind. Piper is as entitled to change his mind as anyone else. His comments yesterday was basically what everyone has been saying on here. Good on him.

It's not a difficult position to take though that a manager isn't good enough and they should be sacked. 99% of them end up getting sacked so eventually you'll be right regardless on when you make that decision. Context is critical and Piper explained the change in context clearly.

There's no shame in having had faith in Rodgers - sadly the character of the man is pathetic and he's trying to take everyone down with him.

Absolutely, I agree with you. However, being critical without context - which is not what Piper did, deserves criticism.

You're also right on Rodgers and his character.

It was a sensational piece of radio and Owynn picked up very quickly that Pipe's speech was something very special - He spoke eloquently, with passion and with truth for nearly 5 minutes and totally reflected how I was feeling and how and why Brendan has let us all down.

I'd also highly recommend that people listen to it as I too, am proud to follow this club with Matt Piper - He was a good player but he's turned into an exceptional broadcaster.

I know he is not everyone's cup of tea but seen Chris Sutton calling Rodgers out now too, saying he clearly doesn't want to be here and is wanting the sack.

Just finished listening to this.

Well done Pipes! You said it all, with such clarity and integrity. Thank you. You're a true blue. I hope the board are listening and take note.

Nothing to worry about. BR will gone soon and the good times will return.

Sutton had a right hump ever since Rodgers joined us. He must be rubbing his hands in delight off screen.

Piper has gotten more mature in punditry over recent years but he was bloody terrible up until a couple of years ago.

He used to flow through interviews asking every "please don't" laborious questions like he was licking a dogs arce. Granted, this was at the start of lcfc media side getting going, but still. Anyway, he's matured over time and i don't mind his voice any more which is positive.

Hmm, yeah they were certainly telling a lot of people to calm down regarding the style of football, saying it was nothing like the last days of Puel etc.

However I really think that comment from Rogers about the fans, has had a huge effect on OPA...
