you know I see this type of comment often but I don’t think that’s what we need, we need some intelligent players.  The time for brutes has kind of left the game with VAR. But there’s a football intelligence we lack, the right time to tactically foul, how to manage a game properly. There’s a lack of the dark arts in our team for sure but you can get that from someone like bernardo silva, they don’t need to be a big bastard breaking legs anymore. 

 

We genuinely are one of the most dense teams, we have no know how about us at all. 

 

the amount of times people stop madison early in build up is ridiculous but when we are faced with similar talent we happily let them waltz around all game

I mean bastards as in players that are mentally strong and up for a relegation fight, not the thuggish types that are just gonna get sent off.

fair enough. i couldn’t agree more. It’s just that we have a lot of posters who cry for a wasilewski type. But in reality we’d be down to 10 with Was most weeks, with the way he throws elbows around 😂 i’m sure he’s happy he played the game when he did
