Top is coming up for a fair bit of criticism and quite rightly so, so put yourself in his shoes

In priority order what would be 5 things you'd do to fix the current state of the club?

Mine are...

Sack Rodgers (shock) and his coaching staff

Appoint a manager on a shortish term deal

Shelf any plans for a stadium expansion until we've fixed the footballing side of things

Sign a goalkeeper in January but play Iversen until then

Sell fringe players even if we're taking a hit on them. Vestergaard, Ward etc. Also maybe a big player too

I wouldn't cancel the stadium expansion.

We can't sell players until January so the 5th one couldn't happen now. Or very unlikely to.

Agree with the others. Even if there is a manager on a short term, I'd like to think they'd do better than Rodgers. Question is, who is that person? The best option is a manager that can come in and get the good feeling back in the squad and for the fans. And get us back up to competing to where we need to be. Much like Rodgers did when he first came in.

The other thing I'd do is get our recruitment strategy back in order. Go back to what we're good at and became known for since promotion. Sign the 'unknown' gems and look to cheaper experienced players. Whoever comes in, we have to get this right again.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it! Rodgers will never be forgiven for a lot of things for some fans, but this is perhaps one of his biggest failings (the stubborn defensive nature is another). Changing our whole recruitment vision away from used to work. Not all signings are bad, but they outweigh the good ones.

Appoint Nigel Pearson as director of football.

Bring in a salary cap.

Ticketing-Stop mobile tickets, but crackdown on those who sell their ticket details for away points.

Remind the owners that we have a history that predates 2010.
Sell seagrave to Loughborough University and move back to Belvoir Drive.

Yeah I did mean in January but obviously that's a long way off.

Can we afford the stadium expansion if we do get relegated? I guess that money is somehow accounted for already?

As for any potential new manager, do we give him this season to keep us up and if he's unsuccessful get rid or do we appoint with the Championship in mind too?

Totally agree regarding recruitment. We've completely abandoned our philosophies and it's been nothing short of scattergun and panic buys

As said in another thread...

1. Rodgers out

2. Dyche in

3. Move training to Belvoir Drive

4. No players are to leave in January

5. New keeper in.

A couple of people already mentioning leaving Seagrave. What's the issue there? I've not been keeping up with that side of things

Short term:

Rodgers out

Julien Stephan in

Rudkin out

Intensively Interview DOFs

Recruit a Head of Analytics

Long term:

Make analytics integral to training, coaching and recruitment

Replace Whelan

Hyper focused on fan relations

Overhaul the academy set up

Overhaul scouting to focus on more obscure markets like outside the big 5 leagues and in South America.

Great shouts. Can you get involved somehow? lol

It'd be like when Magath terrorised everybody at Fulham lol

And all the work that's been done up to now for it I imagine the owners or hierarchy don't want to scrap it. The additional revenue (even if we were to sadly get relegated) will be there for them, and the club. And I'd like to think we wouldn't be there for long! Fingers crossed. We're not there yet. We can still stay up. It'll be a struggle, but not relegated yet.

I'd want a long term manager. A short fix might work, but we've seen in the past it doesn't always work out best. Shakespeare is an example - worked well for a short period, then not so much after! Not the best example I agree, but proves the point.

Replace Rodgers, replace Ward, replace Rudkin (with new appointments in both his positions), bin goal music, find a new home shirt with a collar that doesn't flap about like an agitated seagull

1. Shorten game to 45 mins so we might end a game in the lead.

2. Have a good rummage around the back of the seats for £10m so that we can afford to bin off Burden

3. But Kolo a one way ticket to Tasmania

4. Actually play Iversen for a change

5. Bring back clappers

It's been a long held view that Seagrave is far too cushy and nice and isn't conducive to creating a tight group of players with a common purpose. The windswept vast expanse of the training pitches always look cold and desolate on the photos to me. Belvoir Drive is probably still partially old school enough to make a difference. Change is as good as....

1) get rid of Rodgers.

2) get rid of Rudkin

3) bring in progressive youth coaches to make the most of our training ground/academy

4) Bring in a new DOF with a track record of heading up a competent scouting team & selecting good coaches.

5) Change the match day atmosphere at the KP

No 6 - a big sweeping brush for some nonsense middle management at the club

Properly feels out in the sticks.
