Some half decent action in the middle of the field, but God its dull knowing Max won't even be put under pressure to win.

And when he was will easily pass within a few laps .

The order is likely to change. Laughable as per with the FIA

If there's that many infringements it's likely every driver and they might as well just cancel all penalties.

This is messy yet again, Several hours later and still don’t know the finishing order

And no doubt those drivers punished will appeal .

Red Bull will probably say if Sainz had been punished more Perez could have got 2nd.

This sport has turned to utter muck since the regulation change. I was properly into it pre-regulation change, more or less watched the whole of last season but about two races into this season I just think what’s the point.

Isn't it the same regulations as last year though - which in the end Red Bull and Verstappen dominated.

Just Red Bull have a decent unbeatable car whilst everyone else has some sort of issue/fault each race so there is no consistency or competitiveness to challenge them.

I mean no doubt next week Mercedes will be good and Ferrari have a bad weekend whilst RB sail off into the sun set.

Just in case anybody missed it Ocon received zero warnings for track limits while in the race but got 30 seconds for violation of track limits for 10 laps

Hulkenberg got a warning for track limits while pulling off the track to retire

When the best driver is in a car that's literally a second a lap+ quicker than everyone else and doesn't have a team mate capable of challenging it's a very, very dull sport. It was similar (though maybe not quite as stark) when Lewis and bottas were in the superior merc and it's even worse now. Max could quite easily win every race for the rest of the season and without competition it's a dud other than to the most deluded and hard core max fans. I've given up this year a while ago, catch the YouTube 6-10 min highlights of the races but that's it. It's a shame, and whether it's deemed fair or not they need to find a way to reign that red bull in, much like they do man City in football, it's just not fun for almost anyone.

F1 has always been mostly dominated by one team and one driver, since the year 2000 we have only had 8 different championship winners, 5 of those winners was between 2005 & 2010 where drivers won their first title

Schumacher - 00/01/02/03/04

Alonso - 05/06

Raikkonen - 07

Hamilton - 08/14/15/16/17/18/19/20

Button - 09

Vettel - 10/11/12/13

Rosberg - 16

Verstappen - 21/22

Yeah Bottas was generally more of a match for Hamilton (less so I'm his last couple of years there) than Perez is with Max. Add in the fact that Red Bull simply don't want Perez challenging Max. Barring a mechanical failure in a race, he should win every race no excuses. Already proven he can have shit go wrong in quali and still win at a canter over the past 12 months.

My friends and I were saying yesterday how switched off from the sport we have become.

Doesn't matter what happens on the Saturday, you know Max will stroll through and win. Becoming very boring, was a good battle between Max and Lewis a couple of seasons ago but the Mercs have gone backwards and The Red Bulls have just got stronger.

As frustrating as it is, you have to admire the work they've put into their car. How legitimate their titles are after the financial issues and the dodgy last lap call, still stands to be seen.

Think people will refer back to era of dominance for the mercs, but there was a battle with Ferrari for part of that and then when there wasn't, even though Hamilton was clearly better, Bottas was still closer to him than Perez is to Max. The first title win for Max was a good battle with Hamilton, and still arguably a dodgy title that Hamilton should have won, but after that Red Bull have been streets ahead and Perez isn't good enough, so it's just Max driving off into the distance.

Yeah 17 and 18, or maybe 18 and 19, I'm pretty sure Vettel went in to the summer break leading the Championship. He and Ferrari imploded afterwards. It wasn't domination like 22 and 23

24 races is way too many. I'd get rid of Miami, Vegas, Jeddah, Qatar, Abu Dhabi.

Race starts should be Sunday's at 1pm.

That's all the money tracks. I am sure we will have Riyadh, Indianapolis, LA, NYC, Dubai coming soon

Unsurprisingly sounds like Hamilton has agreed a new deal to stay at Mercedes.

Sky must get a lot of Max Verstappen fans watching!

I guess in Russell and Lando there are 2 young Brits to watch too and of course also Hamilton.
