5 grid penalty for Verstappen .

Might have to wait till lap 2/3 to lead then .

He'll fly past everyone on the long straight after Eau Rouge once DRS gets activated.

Yes - quick moan about it in the press or something then getting on with it as normal.

If you'd remove Red Bull, it'd be a quite exciting season I think. Aston Martin starting strong, Ferrari being there or thereabouts, with McLaren and Mercedes improving significantly over the course of the season. Not much between those cars.

Even the back markers of Alpha Tauri, Haas, Alfa Romeo and Williams are quite evenly matched.

Infairness you just remove max and it’d still be interesting. It does feel like the overall racing on track has been poorer than last year though

Never a penalty for Hamilton. Racing incident.

But look at this, he's deliberately hit him!

There are some people out there who are using this photo evidence to back up the penalty decision.

Probably the same ones that see straight through Max's attempts at making a corner when passing someone else.

It was a genuine overtake attempt and was just unfortunate that he understeered into Perez. However he was given lots of room and it took Perez out of the race ultimately, so a penalty was understandable. Neither he nor the team complained on the radio which tells you all you need to know.

Anyone who still thinks Perez is an above average driver needs to wind their neck in.

Such a shame that there isn’t any competition between the two Beverage company drivers.

Most boring season F1 since Schumacher dominated in 2002. At least when Mercedes were dominant at the start of the hybrid era Hamilton and Rosberg were battling each other.

Even when Mansell walked it in 1992 , there was a risk that the car could break down. The cars are that reliable these days that unless Verstappen is taken out at the first corner, he's going to win by miles.

Interesting to see that Sky Sports brushed off the idea of Perez driving an inferior copy of Max's car.  I'm not convinced after previous with Vettel and Webber.

I doubt the gap is down to pure driving talent although Perez has had some bad luck mostly attributed to his own errors here and there.

When the Belgian GP is boring, you know there are problems with the sport.

Very dull again today.

Didn’t see it today.

Red Bull getting the 1-2 at last probably isn’t a good sign !

Leclerc’s turn to be 3rd then .

Doesn’t help everyone just swaps positions each race - not consistency !

Normally if one team is dominating you get a battle between the team mates. This isnt even close.

Could be the death of F1 for the real fans(The celebs will carry on sucking it all up for the attention!)

Yes they say it’s more popular than ever but that is probably in counties where they gone to promote F1 and invested  big advertising money .

And then the die hards who will watch anything .

I was bought up in the Senna,Prost,Mansell Berger,Piquet  era when it was proper racing.

Yes we get eras of dominance but this at the moment is NOT racing...its a joke.
