Basically York City need 300k, Paul Barnes (Harvey's dad) is a York legend. Hoping to get the lads to do a whip round.

I know Paul quite well and I'm sure he is aware of this. Although comfortable since quiting football he's hardly rich there was not much money floating around back in his day at the level he played.

As far as I'm aware, they don't need 300k, they just want it to buy the shares back.

If he is on less than £80k pw basic then he is a very very cheap player for us. With 20+ goal involvements per year is bonuses will be high too.

 

Rumours are we paying fringe players £60-80k per week.

Just an IKEA stadium. Such a huge shame. Bootham Crescent was absolutely amazing and a bit of football history. 

 

I went to the playoff final at the new ground and they can still get a decent atmosphere but it's not the same.

I went just the once, with some uni mates to watch Chris Wilders Northampton. I can be hard on our support but we look like Boca Juniors compared to them.
