The running costs primarily revolve around the training ground over and above what other clubs in our situation may have. We would do very well to let that be cut aside and go back to Belvoir Drive. Dread to think what we owe the Aussie bank on future eventualities.

yeah there are some weird compression artifacts/frequency modulation going on..

 

and when there's not enough bandwidth it seems to modulate and change the pitch to a feminine register AKA Lady Voice.

Most was okay but couldn't hear the Italian guy well and towards the end with the two Leicester lads on it sounded like there was someone speaking Italian over it in parts.

It sounded a lot better on You Tube tbf but really appreciate the lads doing it and it looked like a lot of work with the camera angles etc. I know it’s a hassle for Jake but I do really miss watching the pods on YT because the facials to Ric’s rants would be priceless 😆

Had some technical issues with mics for the guests, didn't help as the bar filled up with Genoa fans and an Italian geezer dressed as a cowboy. Some gaff that is.

I remember calling out the Macquarie bank loans in 2022 but almost every ****ing financial expert on here told me it's standard practice and not to worry. 

 

Sounds like we have used the loan already. Just to pay wages this season. So no parachute payments. 

 

I don't think there's a way back if we go down.

Without being to much if a pessimist, I think it’s hard to even see a way back if we stay up.  We have made no real effort to get back to sustainable levels. We treat it the way the governments treat global warming.  Mildly do something for optics but not actually trying to resolve anything. 
 

Our accounts make it near impossible to even yo-yo.  We literally are at point where player sales won’t dent the damage. Our accounts from last year will show that even with the money from promotion, we still are bleeding cash. PSR has covered up a much broader issue at the club. If those rules didn’t exist, I’m not sure we would be spending more than we have been. Unless we were really taking a gamble on our future. 
 

The point in sea grave was develop youth… we are now in a reality where ours will be leaving for peanuts and the whole thing will

be shown as a waste of time.

We just want a club left. 

 

Completely agree that anyone who still supports King Power, Top and Rudkin absolute morons but it's far from just those people who want us to stay up and still get them out.

I didn’t call ‘anyone’ who said they don’t want to go down a ‘KP flag shagger’ as that would imply I am also one of those.

Sorry I was one who said we cannot go down, and you'll see I'm the most critical person of Top and Rudkin you'll find. So I assumed it was in response to the many comments on here who opposed what was said. I did hear you say you don't want us to go down.

It was saddening but unfortunately not surprising to hear of the abuse Jake has suffered. I’m desperate to stay up because I think King Power will double down and it’ll get ugly if we go down, but I completely understand his point of view. The king power ins are way more toxic and abusive than they accuse us of being. 
 

They also seem to forget that all of this is because of them.

Agreed. I don't want us to go down either, so it wasn't aimed at anyone on this forum. I don't actually post that often on here (this was my first post in seven years), but felt obliged to in light of some of the abuse Jake has received that has probably irked me more than him and also comments on my appearance, but I shan't say any more on that.

Me and Jake and @Ric Flair differ on that opinion of relegation, but I can also understand their point of view. If we were to go down, i'd be upset but wouldn't feel any sympathy for those running the club.

I'm not on X either, for similar reasons. It is not a conversation for this thread, but we have created a society where there's no room for nuanced debate and it is acceptable to abuse people for having an opinion or a platform that's different to theirs. A lot of what Jake said was taken out of context, but that is the nature of the beast.

To that end, it's also been difficult to criticise certain individuals at the club without crossing the line into personal abuse. I do accept by putting our own opinions on the podcast we're more fair game, but it was more of a reference to those who are 'KP in' and whose rhetoric seems to be abusive in response to anyone who has constructive criticism of the ownership.

I agree with @Nolucklcfc that relegation will make these factions worse, to the point if you are KP out like myself you don't actually feel safe to voice those opinions at games.

Anyway, the podcast was never intended to be divisive, it has just so happened that in the last few weeks/months we have become more aligned to wanting King Power out. We appreciate everyone who listens and it will always be an open forum for anyone who wants to come on and voice their opinion, KP in or out. At the end of the day, we all want what is best for Leicester City, but there seems to now be two distinct schools of thought how to go about that.
