7 Faes, Iheanacho

6 Iversen, Barnes, other subs, Blackburn

5 Tete, KDH

4 Vardy, Ricardo, Thomas, Praet

3 Ref, Amartey

2 Soumare

-5 Rodgers

What was it about that first-half performance that made you think "we don't need to make any extra vigour, attacking intent or half-time subs", Brendan?

7 for Faes? Very generous

I accept that Luke Thomas was dreadful last night and his recent limited performances have been poor but unrelenting criticism will do nothing for the lad. I can remember the terrible stick dished out to another local lad,  Alan Woollet, back in the late sixties. Thomas couldn't get off the pitch quick enough last night when his number came up. Let's hope his confidence is not crushed as he has the potential to be a decent left sided player. Perhaps a loan out (if we stay up) and some intensive work in the gym to build up his strength?
