Even in past games, it never shows their actual rating in the in game menus, just their base card rating with OVR, which I assume mean’t over 90. 
 

The only way to tell which actual card is being used is from the lineups screen before kick off, or if they score with a card.
 

I always thought this was a cheap coding shortcut so they don’t have to programme the actual card rating into the menu view.

 

@Ricey should be able to confirm if he is still with EA?

I can’t see any reason why both ratings can’t match. It could be a big.

 

OVR stands for Overall, as in Overall Rating.

Like I say it’s always been like that as far as I’m aware, certainly in this version.

Really want to upgrade my wingers and CBs, but don't really have the funds to do so. Might start the Best sbc or do Saliba. 

 

Gambled away most of my fodder to get Nesta from the icon pick though 😂

Ditch the wingers. Bruno behind Muller and Haaland. Sawa is an absolute pest just need 2 cms in there.

Just the Spanish kid from Bayern so far. At least he'd be easy to get into my squad, being I've got 3 Bayern players already and a bunch of the Liga F players.
