Gerrim-bac-in This was what I was saying a few weeks back. Always gives 100%, and willing to fight and bleed for the badge, at the moment that gets him in the team ahead of several others. 1
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 I think he will do well and keep us up. Done great at Villa and Brentford. I think he's a good fit, a manager who is not pragmatic but also not principled. Reckon he'll motivate and get the best out of this lot. Come on Dean make us proud 🦊🦊🦊

Sampson Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Regardless of whether or not Albrighton is past it or not (and I thought he’d a had a couple of good games before his loan move and was on the verge of getting back in the side), he was just about the one leader we had and one personality with just about any fight in him. No surprise the players unanimously voted him in a leadership role when asked. He’s the kind of player you still bring on late in a game when you’re struggling who has the experience and leadership to see out a game even if his legs aren’t what they used to be (the Palace game for example is the perfect game you bring him on for). 4
justfoxes Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 With this Trio of Smith Shaky & Terry there’s now hope to survive the drop !!

Popular Post Jakemoore Posted 10 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 10 April 2023 This forum is SO negative it’s infuriating. Leicester City Football Club is not an appealing place to work right now. Accept that please. We’re 2nd from bottom with a very very high chance of relegation. We have tons of players out of contract over the next two summers. We’ve been frankly horrendous for the vast majority of this season. Graham Potter was never going to come here. Not because he wants a summer holiday. But because he doesn’t want a relegation on his CV. He may join next year. Potentially. Dean Smith wants the job because he believes in his ability to keep us up. You may not. But we have to get behind this and support it 110%. No one better wants to come to us. Do I think Dean Smith could keep us up? I’m not 100% sure but I’m going to back him because the players will need that. We have a new manager. Stop being negative. Get behind the club. Get behind the new guys. Get behind the team! 36 2
ARM1968 Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 I quite like this. Some actually thought in it. Maybe a miracle. Least they’re trying. 1

Guest Mee-9 Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Being honest though. I think we could get Guardiola in and I don’t think we’d get past 35 points. These players need a rocket. Or a Size 12 Dean Smith boot up the backside.
Harnser Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Canary here. Loving seeing Madders progress and improve with you. Smith came to us, out of the blue, without warning or even the slightest sign of speculation. He was beamed in, Star Trek style, not in anyones thoughts to managers odffice in a nanosecond. After we and the media had been told/announced Lampard had the job, Smith came here on the rebound from Villa. You know the feeling. You break up with someone, you're beyond devastated, life is pointless etc....so you quickly fix yourself up to someone else, anyone really, hopin it would ease the pain. It never does. Smith didn't get us. Norwich are a club you have to 'get' to make it work. Out of the way, overachieving, stuck in the middle of Norfolk, fan, city and county engagement is crucial. Farke got that 100%, threw himself into it. Smith wasn't the slightest bit interested. His press conferences were turgid, the football one dimensional and dull dull dull. No spark, no pace, no creativity. Get it up to the big man, get crosses into the box. Incase you hadnt noticed, Teemu Pukki isn't going to be able to do anything with that, 'big man' he ain't. Smith will have Vardy, if fit, in your starting XI, play 4-2-3-1, watch those long balls pumped forward.

Chico1958 Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Dean Smith and the rest have a free hit on Saturday but has Two Weeks to work with the Team along with Shakey and Terry. Til we drop I'm still with the Team and next season where ever we are, I'll still be with them. 1
Nick Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Not sure how I feel about having John Terry at the club but hey ho - eight games. 2
Zed Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 (edited) I don't know all the ins and outs, nobody really does, if we're all honest. All we can quote is what we see on the pitch week in week out, and the bottom line is the team have not been good enough all season. So it doesn't matter who comes in, the bottom line is we are not getting out of it as we need at least four wins, and that will only take us to 37 points, and that might not even be enough. I don't think we will win four games anyway. I wish Dean Smith, John Terry, and Craig Shakespeare the best of luck. I pray I am wrong but they have been left in an impossible situation, they do not have the time, nor do they have enough games to try and rectify the situation, and simply put the team is not good enough.
