I know the abuse, verbal and physical, they get at grass roots level means there’s not much coming through and talent pool is pretty shallow. It’s just frustrating.
Md9 Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 Southampton win here and we win puts massive pressure on Leeds to get a win at wba tonight. Southampton not going anywhere anytime soon so ipswich will be worried as well. We just need to keep grinding the wins out

Some of what is given/missed is almost comical. I honestly don’t know what the answer is, the officials aren’t up to it, but I don’t want 5 minute delays whilst someone looks at 12 angles,15 close ups and tries to draw lines to compare someone’s elbow to a big toe on someone’s left foot. Just use the semi-auto offside VAR system that is used in the Champions League, Serie A, World Cup etc. So much better and actually gives you a very clear image of the offside 2
Brainy Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 I know it sounds bitter but feels like a while since Soton played anybody half decent. Us/Leeds/Ipswich were fairly early in the season for them 3

Sometimes maybe people need to accept they won’t be perfect but they don’t which is why there was the demand for VAR. Guess in real time did it look offside unfortunately for Plymouth . The PL don’t help themselves but not using the automatic offside system ? Edited 29 December 2023 by Super_horns 1

Md9 Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 Shame Plymouth scored so late could have done it about 10 mins earlier 😂 1

BKLFox Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 Harwood-Bellis turning out to be a very good buy for Southampton I do wish we got him on loan with a view to buy if promoted.

UniFox21 Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 Hull letting a 2 goal lead slip to be drawing with Blackburn at HT
Blanchflower78 Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 Would have liked Delap leading the line for us. Would have been strong on the link up side as well.
UniFox21 Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 The sky sports championship score panel is so much better than the premier league alternative. Actually showing us the goals and events happening whilst they talk through them.

Leicesterpool Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 Random theory... more curiosity. Say health and safety goes out the window... Leicester City rip out the seats at the king power making it all standing. Capacity scrapped tickets priced at just £10 Adults £5 Kids. What would be the attendance? 1
JimJams Posted 29 December 2023 Posted 29 December 2023 Really low. The metal frames that the seats were on would be a literal pain in the arse.
