Just looking at which Man City U18/U21s we might be able to get and what surprised me was they somehow managed to sign a 16 year old from Germany last summer.

 

I thought U18 players were now no longer able to sign from overseas, even Ireland?

Maresca beat us 6-1 and 4-0 in 2020/21 when he was in charge at Man City's youth side - so he's already had first hand of what a mess things have gotten at that level. Given he's worked at that level himself he should understand the importance of it.
