Writing the article as “welcoming” the return of KP as sponsor is a new level of stupid even for you. KP has returned as sponsor because the clubs seriously poor performance led to a breach of contractual terms with the previous sponsor. There is nothing to welcome about it.

Don't they read-proof their articles before submission?

Agree that the introduction of the article doesn't fit in well with the rest of what follows, in particular when a suicide over betting addiction is involved.

Think the FoxesTrust needs an overhaul, from creating articles to actually putting the genuine supporters' views on board and not to fit their members' own agenda/narrative.

I don't get the negativity for the article.

Being pleased that Leicester have reverted to King Power and have not gone for a betting sponsor is ok. Especially in the light of other clubs securing new and most likely lucrative betting shirt sponsors, this frames the article from a Leicester perspective and gives it relevance.

Whether or not having a betting firm sponsor the club was ever under consideration I don't know, but seeing as over half the premier league are sponsored by some form of gambling it is not a great leap to think we could have replaced out sponsor with a betting company.

What the article doesn't mention and probably should is do we still have an official betting partner? Still having an official betting partner on the shirt makes us no better, or worse, than everyone else.

Seriously I don't even know why you bother to post. At least think about what you're writing and proof read it before putting it out here.

Another load of garbage.

Then at least promote the article as being about that when it's your top line.

Calling something 'The real cost of gambling sponsorship' and then using it to big up Leicester's new shirt sponsor - only mentioning Mr Ashton's inquest eight paragraphs down - is really misleading. It's just another own goal on an important issue, like the Trust can't comment on anything without it being dressed up as an ego boost for the club first and foremost. It's bizarre.

Yet again another own goal from the Foxes Trust.

Laughable.

Fair point.

- We still have a principal betting partner

- FBS are still on our training gear

- We're yet to announce our back of shirt sponsor which is allowed in the championship so.... watch this space on that one.

But yay king power...

I got blocked on LCFC Twitter page for criticising (politely) them for having Pari Match or whatever, they're called, plastered on all of their posts.  The idea the club is doing this on some form of moral basis if laughable.  "The Trust" proving themselves nothing more than lickspittles for the club once more.

Edit:

P.S, don't forget to donate to continue this valuable work.

P.P.S.  Wonder if Trust can link us to the outrage they had when we took this sponsorship originally?

@Foxes_Trust Have you seen the matchday ticket prices?

Care to write something about this and call the club out?

No mention of general sale, just trying to get people to fork out for a membership to allow them to buy insultingly priced tickets?

??

Surely there must be a few foxes trust members thinking "When the fun stops, stop" right about now...

Millions of us gamble sensibly with no negative impact on our lives or anyones else. If advertising makes you gamble then you are the problem not the entity offering the service. It seems these days that everything has to be modified to manage the weak minded in our society. I see nothing has been mentioned about the loss of external revenue we lost through the departure of FBS. Foxes Trust are obviously happy for us to struggle as a viable entity. Leave me alone to enjoy my legal practices and not restrict me through odd individuals failings.

Well that’s the worst opinion I’ve seen on here today. Well done.

Such a short-sighted, unsympathetic opinion, isn't it - to be honest.
